Tangled Earphones -An Alex Turner Fanfic-

Studio

The way to the studio was shorter than I expected and I was there in about ten minutes, and I was glad when I reached the building.
My hand reached out to the door and gently knocked, but no one opened. So I knocked again, harder.

Warm wind rushed to my face as someone threw the door open, an unknown face stood before me.

-Hi, I'm Y/N! I'm looking for Alex Turner?' I said and peeked behind the man, but I didn't really see anything.

-Oh Hello Y/N! I'm Matt, Alex's  friend.' He answered and I nodded, he stepped to the side and let me in. I smiled at him and felt my body be consumed by the warmth.
He led the way to one of the doors and opened it for me.

-Y/N! Was the first thing I heard and then I felt two arms wrapping around my arms and torso. I felt his fluffy hair in my face and I laughed.

-Loosen up so that I can hug you back.' I laughed and he did what he was told to, and I slithered my arms around him as well. He laughed and then I went on to greet Alex's friends.

I smiled at Matt when his name was mentioned but my eyes flickered between two guys when Alex mentioned a 'Jamie' and a 'Nick' but eventually I got the hang of it.

We sat there, me Alex and Jamie on the couch while Nick and Matt had a chair each. We sat there laughing but they explained that they had to continue working.

-Oh that's alright, I'll phone you.' I said to Alex as I stood up, but I felt his fingers make their way around my wrist and I froze. I turned my head a bit.

-You don't HAVE to go.. you can stay here and listen for a while, we have soda if you'd like some!' He said to me with almost pleading eyes, I found it rather adorable. I smiled, nodded and sat down again. I felt his eyes on me and I noticed we were still holding hands, so I broke the contact. But a short while later I felt his hand in mine again and.. to be honest, It felt like I would never be as happy as I was in just that moment again.

The music was honestly incredibly good, Indie rock. I really liked it. I popped open a can of Dandelion and Burdock. It wasn't my favourite drink ever but it wasn't bad so I wasn't complaining.
Alex's voice was angel like and it worked perfectly with Matt's vocals. The strumming of the guitars, the bass and sometimes a piano. It was beautiful how they had composed it, Maybe I could get a chance to do a vocal someday? Nah that's ridiculous.

After the day had passed in the studio I had been memorising some of the lyrics and I knew them to heart.

When it was time for everyone to head home I stayed for a few minutes to help Alex close the place.

-It was very fun today, thank you for inviting me.' I said as Alex locked the door.

-No worries, it was fun having you here. Different.' He explained and I felt the well known warm feeling in my stomach.

We stepped out the door and I felt the sudden cold air slam against my body, making me shiver.
I looked into Alex's eyes and before I knew it, I was hugging him again.

We stood there for a while, just holding each other. It was helping with the cold as well.
But to my dismay we finally had to let each other go, and my arms fell to my side.

-Same time tomorrow?' Alex asked as he looked into my eyes, and I sunk deeper into his.

-Of course.' I answered, as if there had been a spell cast over me.

Alex explained that he lived on the opposite side of the small town and I nodded, disappointed that he wouldn't be able to walk me home.
We said our goodbyes and he turned around, but I grabbed his wrist. I didn't want him to go just yet.

He spun around and I gave him a short but soft peck on his right cheek.

Then I sped walked away but I could feel his eyes on my neck, what I didn't know though, was that he wished that I'd have placed the kiss more center on his face.
