The sun comes up and I'm still sitting in the nest, biting my nails.

I'm anxious and scared and upset.

I hear Rio and I pretend to sleep as he comes into my room.

"Missy, wake up." I pretend to wake up.

"What?" I say as I get up and look at him.

"We have a day off." I check my watch and see that we have in fact been contacted to say we have a day off.

"Why couldn't you tell me when I woke up?" I say and he shrugs.

"You sort of wake up and then get ready immediately." He says and I pinch the bridge of my nose.

"I obviously check my phone you idiot." I reply and I get back into my nest.

I've turned away from him but I know he hasn't left yet.

"Why didn't you tell me?" He asks me and I pretend not to hear him. "Answer."

"I'm not obligated to answer you." I say and I get under my covers and block my whole body from him.

I feel shattered.

"Come on, just tell me." He says and I get annoyed.

I sit up.

"Annoy me again and I'll get my sniper rifle and shoot you in the fucking head. You got it?" He doesn't even seem phased.

"Look, you can't threaten me all you want, I know you're hurt over it and I know you're scared. I mean look at you, you've got scars and bruises everywhere. You're fragile." He says and I pull a face.

"Just leave me alone..." There's a red dot on his forehead.

I tackle him to the ground and roll over to the window. I can see someone on the roof of the house opposite.

I shut the curtain and get my sniper rifle which the FBI had obviously missed which was weird. They were meticulous.

"House, covert cameras on." I say and the house responds and me and Rio both get a notification. "You need to stay behind me at all time."

I get my sniper rifle on my back and get my pistol.

I make sure to clear the house before running up to the attic which I've stocked.

I hand him a bulletproof vest and put one on myself and I grab a walkie.

"This is Artemis. We have an active sniper situation at my home. They're on the house opposite. Can you see?" I ask and I get a response.

"This is Jolie Beauchamp, I can see it. Look down." I see her from the corner of my eye at the house where the sniper is.

"Jolie that isn't safe." I say but she shrugs. Elijah is behind her and I look confused. What a weird combination but then I remember that they are neighbours and River is on a case right now.

I can see them behind the person and I watch as Jolie smacks them hard in the back of the head and watch as they fall.

I try hard not to laugh.

I run over and go upstairs to see what has happened.

"Is that Leland Jaciel?" I say as he turns over and JJ looks closely.

She nods.

I look at the roof of my house and I see Rio there, just confused.

Elijah picks Leland up and drags him down the stairs and Rex and Pin come and cuff him and take him away.
