(Texas is loosely based off of my little cousin, basically just removing the basic little girl traits of being a leader by force, absolute savage, and criminal mastermind

My little cousin is six and is still learning how to do the grammaring of words good

Sometimes, instead of saying "She" or "he", she'll say "her" or "him"

Ex: "Her is scared of me and him is running in terror,"

i'm making Texas talk like this because screw you)

B: America! Your mother and I are back from our trip! Can we pick up Texas and take him out to get ice cream? We miss our little cowboy!

A: Unfortunately no... he's with his abuelo

B: Awww...Why?

A: He's been real bad lately... sneaking out, getting in trouble... I mean, he's not a bad kid-

B: He's the sweetest little baby ever!

A: ...Yeah, like I said, he's not a bad kid... he's just... adventurous... and he's never gotten hurt, so he never really learned to play it safe, y'know?

B: Oh Ame, you and Aussie were like that when you were his age

A: What'd you do?

B: your grandfather beat you...

A: Ugh, yeah... no, I don't want that for Texas... I just hope Spain can keep Texas out of trouble... He's a lot more "No nonsense" than you are

B: You know I can't say no to my little cowboy

A: You love him more than you love me... I don't think I had a cute nickname growing up...

B: It's because "Little cowboy" Is a cuter nickname than "Little abolitionist"

A: I find both of them equally endearing!

B: Haha, it did describe you rather well, I'm sure my father wouldn't have called you that with any bit of endearment though

A: True, true, well, if you're so excited to see Texas again, I'll call Spain to tell him you and mom will pick Texas up on Sunday

B: Ok, tell him not to tell Texas though! I want it to be a surprise

A: Of course, bye dad, love you... even though you're a bastard

B: Love you too! you're by far my favorite mistake

Meanwhile, Texas woke up at 11

He was ecstatic that he was allowed to sleep in

He went downstairs and was even more ecstatic to see pancakes

"Buenos días águilito... I see you had a rough night," Spain said, leading Texas to the sink to wash his hands.

"Mhm... I miss home," Texas said sleepily.

"Aw, I'm sorry... well, I know what might cheer you up," Spain said. Texas looked up at him in curiosity. "I saw you have a lot of toy horses... after breakfast, I'll let you meet the horses on the farm," Spain said. Texas gasped dramatically, something kids tend to do, mostly because that's what they learned to do from the TV.

"Really?! Can we go now?!" Texas exclaimed excitedly. Spain smiled.

"Eat first, the horses are having their breakfast now too," Spain said. Texas nodded diligently and started eating quickly.

"Comer despacio, águilito. You'll choke," Spain said.

"But I wanna see the horses!" Texas exclaimed. Spain chuckled.

"We have all day, mi vida, pace yourself," Spain said. Texas slowed down a bit, and in between bites asked about the horses.

"So how many are there?" Texas asked.

"Four, one of them is a baby," Spain said.

"Awww! I wanna see the baby horsey! What's her name?" Texas asked.

"Her name is April, because she was born this month... I'm not the most creative at names," Spain said. Texas smiled.

"I wanna meet her now! I'm done eating" Texas exclaimed. Spain smiled.

"Ok, follow me!"

(Btw I will potentially be inactive for a while because I'm getting surgery, and I don't know how I'll feel afterwards)
