"FUSHIGURO, WHAT MASCARA DO you use?" this came from Nobara, as the three of them-- Nobara, Megumi, and Kayo-- made their way out of the school building.
"I beg your pardon?"
"Your eyelashes are always so long and thick-- it's not fair," she pouts.
This merely earns a shrug from the male, "Genetics, I guess,"
"How about you, Kayo-chan, what mascara do you use? Even when you're doing sports your makeup never runs or smudges,"
"My friend, these eyelashes aren't even real," Kayo points at her eyes, "100% synthetic extensions," she grins.
"They look so natural though!"
Megumi trailed behind as the two girls went on their rants.
It was the start of their lunch period, the three made their way to their designated hangout spots; Nobara always ran off with second-year Maki Zen'in and the other two went to their usual bleachers camp.
They part their ways and the camera pans towards the dark-haired duo-- but they stop short.
"What--" Megumi's eyes immediately cut to Kayo as she tries to hide the grin that's plastered on her face.
At their usual spot, the one behind the school bleachers, sat, surely, Yuta, but he wasn't alone. With him sat two others; Yuji, whom Kayo invited, and another boy. Pale soft hair and fair skin, wearing a face mask that covered the bottom half of his face: Inumaki Toge, Kayo's oh-so mysterious crush from her sign language class.
Seeing her flustered expression, a smirk creeps onto Megumi's lips, "C'mon, Kayo, let's go sit down,"
The male never let down the opportunity to give his best friend a taste of her own medicine.
"I- uh- sure. Okay," the girl jutted out her chin, pretending to be unfazed, and marched over to their spot. But despite how much she tried to brush it off, a dust of red danced on her cheeks lightly.
Megumi had his suspicions about Kayo's secret crush and seeing her reactions sure as hell confirmed them all.
"Hey! Kayo-chan! Fushiguro-kun!" Yuji greeted them as the two finally reached the others, leaving their school bags in the customary heap of bags.
Kayo waved a paper bag, "We brought some meat buns,"
Inumaki's eyes landed on Kayo and the bag of food, smiling under the mask he waved.
"H-hey, Inumaki-senpai," she offers him a smile and allows him the first pick out of the bag.
"HEY-" Itadori began to protest but immediately shut down as Megumi shot him a look: 'let Kayo and Toge have their little moment first.'
