Red felt like he had been nailed to a wood board. The taste in his mouth tasting like the time he ate soap. His head was pounding but his body felt numb. Upon truing to open his eyes he found the location far too bright. Grunting and wincing. Too much fucking pain at once for this.

"Red!" came the familiar, relieved cry, Red bracing himself when he felt his sister throw her arms around him. Him grunting as he opened his eyes just enough to look around... a private hospital bed. Iv drip to his side, medicine bag attached to it. And to his right a window with the blinding sun coming in. and the Cyan skeleton sitting below it. His eyes closed as he slept. His ties moving with his breaths from his nose.

Cherry was beginning to sob into Red. The older skeleton Sighing as he relaxed into the bed and his sister's grip. Letting it all sink in as he came to realise what really had just happened to him. A man posing as his lover love bombed him for over a month so he could lead him into the city and try to kill him for his brother's emotional pleasure and closure. Only for the brother to try and take his place to 'own' his sister?!

Cherry gripped him tighter, the grip hurt Red but. He didn't care. Any longer and he would've died. He would never have seen his goofy sister again he was that close to losing everything he loved for some stupid dream of having a lover! He pressed his face into Cherry's shoulder. Allowing the choaked sob to leave his mouth. It hurt, his skull hurt so fucking much. It all hurt and he didn't care because he was still fucking alive!

"please ma'am, do not hold my patients so aggressively. You cannot harm him as such, please" the nurse stated sternly. Cherry sighing as she slowly got off the bed, going to flop down and sit beside the stranger skeleton. Causing him to startle awake.

The skeleton looked around in alarm, gathering his bearings before his eyes focused back onto the other. Their Reds eyes met theirs and he relaxed. The Police officer that had saved him. The skeleton approached the bed. Standing beside it with a small smile "Apologies for acting so out of place and staying with you sir. My name is blue? I am the police officer who found you a couple days ago... do you... remember? Perhaps?" Blue had asked, his head tilting to the side slightly. Red smiled. How the fuck could he forget those iridescent Blue-Cyan eyes?

"I think I've been too traumatised to forget, honestly" he grumbled groggily. A gasp escaped blues mouth as the scarfed skeleton covered his eyes. Eye lights morphing into stars as he stared at Red. The hell was this look the kid was giving him mean? Should Red perhaps be concerned? As fast as this reaction came it was gone. Blue reaching to take Red's hand. The fuck was he doing that for? Cherry seemed to be having the same idea as she approached and shooed him away from his hand. The nurse right behind her as the nurse wheeled in Red's meal. Haaah! Thank fuck! He hadn't noticed sooner but he felt like he was fucking starving! The nurse placing the covered food onto the table before wheeling that in front of him, cherry giving reds skull a few soft rubs as she pressed a button to raise his head for him to eat.

Red spared Blue a glance, confused. Blue however beamed right back, soft eye lights wavering slightly as he sat back down. Red uncaps everything and eats what he can, and what he wants. Like seriously. Who the fuck ate the green jelly? He had no time to further question or comment on this statement his mind granted him however as he found himself almost immediately falling asleep once more to no one's surprise at all.

The next morning was a far easier wake up. Shifting gently under the warmth of the blankets over him. His sister rubbing small circles on his skull as he awoke more and more. Giving him a reassured smile as she moved her hand away. Her concentrated magic was beginning to look better and better every time he woke up, he was almost certain. Perhaps they were treating her here while she was here?
