A/n small chapter because they can be fun too right? I would've made it longer but I couldn't think of too much. I knew I wanted to end the chapter where it ended though, low and behold! Guess who the new doctor of the town is? Don't worry he is a professional . He's just giving karma he doesn't need to give.

He must've been laying there with his soul feeling like it was burning for a while. Because he had cherry standing over him when he was aware of everything again. Her hand pressed firmly to his skull. Was it just his imagination or did the pain subside with that? He looked up to see cherry was on the phone, speaking in a nervous tone. He slowly reached up to hold her hand. It did feel rather cold compared to how it had been when he was getting hugged earlier.
"I-I'm really sorry, I was the person who organised a four o'clock for a skeleton tomorrow?" Her voice came out far too fast for red to comprehend right now. He slowly moved her hand from his skull to his soul. Against his chest even through his shirt her hand felt like icicles compared to him but this movement didn't seem to make his sister seem any less worried.
"Y-yessir, if it's no trouble could we reschedule to now? I don't know what's wrong with him- he was actin' off earlier but now he's not any better, he sounded like he was in pain just before and he's boiling up" she explained. But red already felt numb in his soul. He didn't feel like it was burning or being squeezed or anything really. He just felt warm now. Relaxing against the bed as he drew out a long sigh he heard his sister tell the phone their address and mentally kicked himself.
She was worried for him over nothing. And now some random doctor was coming to their house! He was gonna see the mess... and while it could look worse out there he didn't Wanna be seen right now!
He squeezed her hand softly in his, stairing up at her as he spoke to her "sis, don't waste the new doctors time please. It doesn't hurt anymore." She didn't seem to believe him though, thanking the doctor before hanging up as she slowly helped red to a sitting up position again, stairing at him "you aren't acting normal red. Not only that but you're far too warm to be okay"
Red wanted to argue. But he could guess this was a battle he had already lost. Cherry gave him his glasses before helping him to his feet and guiding him around all the trash in the room to the main room.
Red could smell her toastier on the bench. However long he had been laying there thoes were freshly made and warm. She lead him to the couch. But instead of going to get the toastier she sat beside him, waiting nervously. The scilence becoming colder and colder untill cherry couldn't seem to take it anymore.
"So" she prompted. But trailed off when she couldn't think of a topic. Her brother looked out of it. It was like he wasn't actually there. Eyes half lidded as he stared at the tv as if it had just flipped him off. There was her conversation. That's what she could talk about.
"Whyre you upset?" She asked, before immediately regretting it! Red NEVER told ANYONE what was wrong! Even in this state he wouldn't-
"Some asshole scientist came in after closing time. I wouldn't have let him in but- the guy said the words" he grumbled, looking up at her with his distant expression that still seemed to focous on her "but I swear, that guy feels like trouble, and I didn't think I was..." red trailed off, cherry could see what he was getting at
Granted, red did give her thoes vibes. "What words?" She pressed, surely if she kept a conversation going things wouldn't feel so... dead here. Red didn't respond though, instead just taking the moment to justure to his arm slowly. Cherrys eyes lighting up "you met YOUR soulmate?!" She couldn't contain the exitement she gained from this, god, her brother needed something good to happen like this!
"He feels like anything but a fuckin' soulmate!" Her brother hissed. Cherry smiled though. He was sounding a bit more like himself again. But she wanted DETAILS now. She scooted closer and grabbed reds hands again, squeezing them softly as she staired up at him with glimmering eyes "description. Now. Is he human? What monster was he? Was he cute? You said he was a he right?" She begun to question her brother, red squeezing her hands to imply she needed to stop. And she respected that. Watching her brothers skull grow more and more flushed
"Yeah... it was a guy" he begun, cherry squeaking in delight as she didn't even wait for the rest, barreling into him in a hug. Forgetting that he was fragile and probably sick!
Yet despite being thrown into the side of the couch red didn't fight her hold, he didn't struggle. He actually did the opposite. Slowly wrapping his arms around her waist as he said "don't go screaming this to your online friends cherry. Thanks" he murmered, taking a deep breath as he said "but, that's the thing. The guys a-" red was once more interrupted. But this time by a knock at the door. Cherry giving his skull a soft kiss before helping him back into a more comfertable position. Moving to the door to answer it.
"Hello- oh! Hello!" She said, red felt his curiosity slowly build up as he moved to look over at the door, his breath catching in his throat. Cherry was standing exitedly beside the door. Ushering a skeleton in. But of course there was only one other skeleton in the city right now.
Standing at the door with a happy smile talking to his sister, was class. That fucking skeleton that boiled reds magic. And he couldn't understand why!
Class' interest moved over to him. He appeared to take no notice of the room around him as the smile grew more coy "Ah, well look who it is" he begun, walking over to sit beside him, sticking his tongue out "seems I get to see you a second time today then" he purred, his eyes locked onto reds chest "and from what I can gather? You missed me" he teased.
Bad idea, reds mind flashed with fear when classic moved closer. Doctors weren't meant to be this close! Not even the unpleasant ones!
He didn't realise when he had. But the next moment his hand felt tingly, and Class was sitting back a little cradling his cheek. Cherry gasping behind him.
God, why did class's presence make him feel like this!
