(Veronica's outfit. Damn the shoes look comfy.)
It was a Saterday and it was cold. So no one wanted to go to Hogsmead.
Veronica sat on the couch next to Harry and was reading a book.
Ron and Hermione were Prefects so they were off somewhere.
'What's the book about?' Harry asked Veronica curiously.
'About a girl who doesn't accept herself for who she is. She doesn't believe her happiness matters and it is something I think everyone can relate to. I can lend it to you if you want.'
'I'd like that.'
Veronica went back to her reading.
'Do you want to talk about what happened at your old school?'
Veronica looked up at the dark haired boy a little confused.
She wasn't sure what he meant.
'Veronica, Hermione told me why you avoided us.'
'Talk about the fact that my friend backstabbed me and told me secrets to the whole school? Or the fact that one of the boys asked me out for Valentine's day but never showed up?'
'There's no need to-'
'It's not my fault no one liked me!'
'I didn't-'
'Harry, I don't wanna talk about it. And don't stick your nose where it doesn't belong.' Was all Veronica said as she stood up and went up to her dorm.Veronica never wanted Harry to know. And now he does.
He shouldn't have found out.
Yet Veronica didn't know how Hermione figured it out but she had no right to tell Harry about it. No right at all!
Maybe Hermione had been trying to help but it made Veronica feel like her secret wasn't respected.
That's how she felt.
