New girl At Hogwarts

First week of 6th grade

The first week, everyone was still getting organized. Professor Snape ended up getting the Dark Arts Positiona and they had a new Posions teacher.
But Veronica's head was somewhere else most of the time.
Especially about what they saw Draco Malfoy do and what this could mean.
Harry is under the impression that Draco Malfoy is a Death Eater and honestly Veronica wouldn't be surprised if he was one.
It would make sense. But then in the hallway on the way to class, Veronica walked into someone and then she realised it was none other than Malfoy.
The girl mentally sighed. Really? Now?
'Sorry, Veronica.'
Since when does Draco Malfoy apoligize to anyone and since when did he care about using her first name?
'No-No problem.' Was all Veronica managed to get out.

'Can we talk after class?'
The girl stared at Malfoy confused. She was surprised even...
She thought he hated her...
And she doesn't want Harry or any of the Gryffindors to see her talking to Draco Malfoy.
'I...uh...have to get to class. I will think about it.' She said a little awkwardly and walked past him without another word.
What did Draco Malfoy want?

He hated the Gryffindors so why did he want to talk to her?
Veronica wanted to know. Maybe Malfoy was confessing that he was indeed a Death Eater. She felt sick to her stomach. Maybe it was true that he was one of them and it acctually scared her.
Because if Draco Malfoy was a Death Eater, he could be leading her into a trap. So she made up her mind: Stay away from Malfoy. He's trouble and he's dangerous.
So Veronica has decided that she doesn't care what that boy has to say and she could care less. She doesn't care.
So after class, Veronica told Malfoy that she didn't wish to talk and all he did was nod.
