It was the end of the year and Veronica packed her clothes. She was worried about Harry since what happened in the Ministry of Magic.
And they haven't talked about it since it happened.
Veronica doesn't know what to say to Harry either. Because what can she say that will make him feel better?
Nothing.
Harry just lost his godfather. The only family he had left.
The poor boy lost everything once again.
A knock on the door made drew Veronica's attention.
Hermione stood there. 'You almost ready to go?'
Veronica nodded. Yes she was almost ready to go.
Almost.
Hermoine walked off to go get her bag and the girl was alone with her thoughts.
If Veronica was honest, she felt guilty for what happened to Sirius. It was her fault for not fighting hard enough and if she had fought hard enough...
Harry wouldn't have lost his godfather.
Her parents are gonna ask what happened this year and why she never wrote to them. And if she had said anything about Umbridge, her parents would have taken her out of Hogwarts.
That's why!
Veronica got ahold of herself and finished packing.
The whole time towards the train, she avoided Harry, Ron and Hermoine because she doesn't know what she's suppose to say.
Harry tried to get Veronica to talk to him but she avoided him and he got the hint.
This is not how either of them had imagined their 5th year to end but it ended that way.
