'Harry Potter...is dead!'
'NO!' Veronica screamed and tried to run forward but to her surprise it was Draco Malfoy that held her back.
'Silence!' Voldemort yelled. 'Pathetic girl.'
Neville limped forward and it caught the evil man's attention.
'And who might you be, young man?'
'Neville Longbottom.'
'Well, Neville, I suppose we can find a place for you in our ranks.'Veronica glared at Voldemort.
Was he so stupid that he thought they'd join him?!
'Draco.' Lucious Malfoy said and gestured Draco Malfoy to come stand with them.
Veronica looked at him.
She could see he was afraid. But he made the choice...
'Draco.' Narcissa Malfoy said. 'Come here.'
Malfoy walked away from the group of people and went to stand with his parents.
'I'd like to say something.' Neville said.
'Neville.' Veronica warned.
'Harry might be dead but he didn't die in vain.'
'Stand down, Neville.' Someone said.
'People die every day.' Neville looked at his friends. 'Friends, family. But there in here.' He placed his hand against his chest. Above his heart. 'So's Fred, Remus, Tonks. But they didn't die in vain.' He looked at Voldemort. 'But you will!'
The Dark Lord laughed evilly.
'Because Harry's heart did beat for us. For all of us!'
And then Neville pulled Godric Gryffindor's sword out of the Sorting Hat.
Then suddenly Harry fell out of Hagrid's arms. Very much alive.
The Gryffindors cheered.
Veronica breathed a sigh of relief.
Harry got to his feet and raised his wand. 'Protego!' He cried and fired at Nagini.
The snake simply had the spell reflected off and it knocked over a group of Death Eaters. Harry ran over to Veronica.
She punched his shoulder. 'That's for scaring me.'
'Sorry.'
Bellatrix yelled something at Lucious Malfoy but no one really could care less.
Some of the Death Eaters disapparated.
'Cowards.' She growled.
Another fight broke out.
Because now Voldemort was angry.
And what did the Malfoy's do? They ran away!
'Everyone into the castle!' Harry called. 'We need to kill the snake!'
They were inside when Neville charged at Voldemort. Only to get knocked off his feet.
'Neville!' Veronica cried out.
She decided to try and deal with Nagini. It was the last Horcrux. Someone has to try something.Veronica was now destracting Nagini so that Harry can deal with Voldemort.
The snake really did not like rocks being thrown at it.
Shw fired hexes and jinxes at it but it just reflected off.
The girl tried her daggers as well and it didn't work.
She fell over a rock and hit the floor hard.
The snake was coming closer...
She jumped up but ended up falling on a pile of rubble.
Neville came and he took care of the snake with the sword.
Veronica breathed heavily. 'Thank you.' She said as she got up.
The girl ran into the grounds.
Only to stop when she saw Voldemort loosing his wand. Harry caught it.
It was over.
Then Voldemort turned to dust. He was gone...
It was over...<Later>
Veronica stood with Harry, Ron and Hermione on the bridge.
'You said the Elder Wand didn't work for Voldemort.' Veronica said. 'Why?'
'The wand never belonged to Snape. It was Draco that disarmed Dumbledore that night in the Astronamy Tower.' Harry replied. 'Then that night at the Manor when I disarmed Draco.'
'So that means...'
'It's mine.' Harry looked down at the Elder Wand.
'What are we going to do with it?' Ron asked.
Hermione looked at him. 'We?' She asked. 'It belongs to Harry.'
'With it he'll be invincable.'
'No. It's too powerfull for anyone to possess.'
With that Harry split the Elder Wand in two and tossed it down the casm.
It was over...
The war was finally over...
