CHAPTER TWENTY ONE: Revelations

Jamie's POV

I never would have thought I would be able to survive those days while Kenji is obviously avoiding me. Nakipagpalit pa siya ng seat kay Vince. Of all people? Nananadya ba siya? At dahil walang kaalam-alam si Charm sa mga pangyayari, dinahilan na lang namin na malabo yung mata ni Kenji kaya siya nakipagpalit kay Vince who is formerly seated at the front. Another lame excuse, what the hell!

Di naman sa totally ini-snob ako ni Kenji, tinatanguan naman nya ako pag nagkikita kami pero di naman ako kinakausap! He focused on his practices and studies. Good for him. I sound bitter but I can't help it. I'm still not used to his cold treatments.

Although I'm grateful that lola Citas is somehow fine already. She suffered from mild stroke, and fortunately, mabilis naman siyang naka-recover. Araw-araw ko siyang dinadalaw sa kanilang mansion since then. Kaya di maiiwasang sumabay ako kay Vince tuwing uwian. Mukhang lalo na tuloy kaming di magkakaayos ni Kenji. I still can't believe that he couldn't understand me. 

I just diverted my thoughts on mom's upcoming birthday party. Today we're busy preparing for her 45th birthday celebration later.

Nagpa-cater sila kuya at good news dahil kakanta ulit yung datin banda ni kuya. Makikita ko na sila at baka makilala ko na yung girlfriend niya! Sobrang saya ko para sa event na 'to dahil matagal na namin tong pinlano nila kuya. Kaya lang wala pa sila. So I'll just wait for them, we have enough time pa naman since it will be a dinner party.

Masaya ako at uuwi na ulit sila mamaya. Namiss ko na yung kakulitan nila. Only relatives and close friends were invited. Siyempre Tita Gina's Family will be here. Bahala na iaarte namin ni Kenji mamaya. I still don't know how to react.

Mom also invited lola Citas pero dahil nasa recovery stage pa siya, di sila makaka-attend ni Vince because he doesn't want to leave her naman pag wala siyang pasok.

I also invited Charm but she will be visiting her parents in Cebu kaya wala akong makakasama sa party. Unlucky day for me! Yeah right. Hayysss..

I quickly went downstairs when I heard the commotion. Nandito na sila kuya! Yehey!

"Mga kuya! Namiss ko kayo!" I greeted them cheerfully. I hugged and kissed each one of my handsome kuyas and I greeted the other band members.

"Hi everyone!" And then I also greeted their friends. They all smiled and waved at me.

"Hi Jamie! Long time no see." Bati sa akin nung kabanda ni kuya, si Alvin. He's famous kasi because of his image. May pagka-playboy. 

"Lil' sis, we heard na may boyfriend ka na. San na 'yun? Matalupan kaya ng buhay." 

Si kuya Jonas talaga brutal! Wala naman talaga akong boyfriend. Kapag si Kenji kaya yun, tatalupan niya pa rin ng buhay? If I know, they want me together with Ken! Sila ni Kuya Marc!

"Di totoo yun, kuya! Wag kang naniniwala sa tsismis." pagtanggi ko. Di naman kasi talaga totoo yun, kaya lang mukhang ayaw nilang maniwala.
