This was supposed to come out before Christmas and it is Easter next week but pls bare with me i have been really busy with stuff lol But hopefully you guys will enjoy this And maybe this year somebldy will read it before or in Christmas time and it will set them in the mood haha

Twilight's P.O.V

10 years later:
I was walking in some dark forest.
With each step, my heart rate increased and my hope of finding my way home diminished.
I looked from side to side, but nothing felt familiar. How did I even get here? And why was I walking alone in the woods in the middle of the night?
I couldn't find answers to these questions. All I could do was keep walking, hoping to finally find my way home.
Suddenly I saw a dark silhouette in front of me. My eyes widened in fear.
I took a step back. The figure turned to me with a face I recognized right away. My throat went dry. I couldn't swallow.

"M-midnight sparkle?" I asked in a whisper.

- Hello, Twilight. We haven't seen each other for a long time - she smiled predatory.

- What do you want from me? - I snapped. I haven't had dreams about Midnight Sparkle in years.

"The usual" she rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, " you have to understand that if you join me we'll be powerful. We will rule the human world, and then we will pass through the portal and conquer Equestria".

- I don't want to do this anymore. My will to rule over people was temporary
- I replied truthfully.

- Oh I know you want it, no one knows your deepest desires more than I do- she came closer and closer, and I backed up with every step she took towards me.

- Get away from me, you demon! - I screamed and pushed her back with all of my strength.
It did not make too much of an impression on her.
She laughed at my attempt to get rid of her.

"You stupid girl," she chuckled, "you'll never get rid of me! I will always live in you! No matter what you do, no matter where you go, I will always be by your side".

"You haven't been showing up for a long time" I pointed out.

- Because you haven't thought about me for a long time - she replied - soon I will take over your body and you will belong to me!

She grabbed my shoulders and started shaking me.

- Noooooo! Leave me ! NOOOOOO!- I screamed and closed my eyes.

When I opened them, I saw my wife's blue-green irises. Sunset Shimmer. My breathing calmed down.

"Twilight it was just a bad dream" she reassured me.

I took her hand and squeezed it.

"I know now, but it felt so real." I shook my head, breathing out a large amount of air.

"It's all right" she assured me and kissed me on the forehead.
I smiled at her gesture. I felt safe again - what was your dream about?

"Midnight Sparkle" I sighed heavily, closing my eyes for a moment, then opening them.

- Oh Jesus ... really? I thought that she left you alone a long time ago - the fire-haired girl was surprised.
She was looking at me worriedly.

"I thought so too, but I was clearly wrong" I shook my head, trying to keep the image of the demon out of my head.

"I'm sorry she is still bothering you" Sunset said sadly, and hugged me. I pulled her closer to me feeling the warmth of her body.

"I know" I whispered softly and tucked my face into her crazy curls.
