okay so you know how in Fairy Tail about halfway through those things where they go to and from commercials that have thus folk music with Happy doing this little dance??

so in an early episode I noticed that it reeeeaaaallllyyyy breaks the SUSPENCE

so in an early episode, Erza, Natsu, Lucy, and Gray are going to fight the dark guild who had Lullaby, right? (also where is Happy bc after the main fight with Erza's cool magic doesn't he like disappear??)

Natsu wakes up and is like being a cocky lil shit 'oh, there's lots of you? this will be fun.' and he puts his fist into his hand. there's about to be an epic battle. tension is high. the audience is getting all hyped up.

oh, but then Happy just comes on and starts fucking TWERKING while this music from SnK times plays.

doesn't that break the spuspence just a little??

I mean, leading up to a huge fight, we expect to see a huge fight or some smack talk, not a some twerking blue flying cat.

then, at the end of the episode, Erigor and Erza are talking after Gray fucked some guys up, right? and it's like OH MY GOD THE GUILD LEADERS ARE GONNA DIE OMFG TENSION.

oh, but then chibi Lucy is there waving her legs in a meadow while some J-pop shit plays.

so, in short, if there is high tension levels, do not show cute characters dancing to happy JAPANESE music.
