in re: 'belarus's issues'

I've been meaning to post this for a while, but I haven't got around to it.

as many of you may know, I posted a chapter when I first got into hetalia titled 'Belarus's issues'. I said that Belarus was 'creepy' and 'incest craving'.

you guys don't even know the half of how much I regret that.

everybody gone through the 'hetalia weeb' phase... that was kind of me...

every hetalia weeb thinks Belarus is 'insane' or a 'stalker'. that's so not true.

back then, I though of Belarus as the creepy stalker who would never leave Russia alone. I never knew who she was.

I never knew Belarus was the girl who would space out for hours on end. The girl who called Poland and stayed silent while he tried to figure out who was calling. The girl who treasured things around her, because she knew they'd all die. The girl who can say such vulgar things to easily. The girl who could see ghosts, and made fun of American ghosts for 'not having the balls to show more than their face'. The girl who is considered America's adopted little sister because she left after the Soviet Union broke apart. Why? She thought Russia was a bad influence and wanted to get away from him.

She is no stalker. She is not all 'big brother marry me marry me marry me big brother Russia'. Belarus is so, so much more than that, and I am honestly so ashamed I've belittled her so that it seems that's all she is, all she's worth.

Belarus is wonderful. Please, nobody ever do something like that. She is a complex, deep, and wonderful character. Belarus is more than just Russia's stalker/sister. She's not even half of those, to be honest.

Again, I'm so, so sorry.

(also, ignore whatever the fuck I said about the dub. I just dislike the dub, but watch whatever you prefer.)

(I'm going to delete that chapter because I hate it.)
