It's so great seeing adie loosening up with mom

...i generally have no clue what she's talking about. She rolls her eyes and crosses her arms...shit she's giving me that look, i gotta think...OH THE GIFTS-
G: OH THAT
A: *chuckle* yeah THAT
G: yeah, sure, course
We walk outside. Holy SHIT i forgot how cold it is and i forgot my damn jacket
G: Jesus C-C-Christ i miss LA w-weather
A: you just got s-soft is all

I look up and then back at adie
A: what?
I grab her waist and pull her forward into a kiss. She's shocked but then relaxes a lil and puts her arms around my neck before i pull away
A: w-what...was that for?
G: mistletoe
She looks up and sees the mistletoe above us
A: oh...well you s-should've warned me
G: why?-
She pulls me back into a kiss. She lifts her leg a lil before pulling back
A: could've actually been ready...a-anyways we have s-some gifts to get
G: right
We carry the gifts inside
A: *yawn*
It ain't even six yet
G: adie rider are you...tired?
A: hm? oh please, no, of course not...just a lil bored is all
G: mhm...well then let's put on a chirstmas movie while monica comes with the nieces
A: good idea
M: kids! we're gonna watch a movie
Adie chooses the live action grinch and my siblings pick their seats. I walk into the dinning room and help mom set the table
M: kids love her you know
G: yeah i noticed
M: she'll make a great mom some day...if you decide to have children of course
G: ...i know
I look into the living room and see adie asleep holding her head up with her hand...i knew she was tired...she just doesn't wanna admit she's not getting any younger-
*ring*
A: ah! what is it? what'd i miss?
S: pft ahaha
My younger siblings laugh and she shakes her head to wake up
M: monica's here
G: yep
I let monica in
G: ...had a nice nap?
A: shut up i was just resting my eyes
G: mhm sure...anyways *opens door* monica merry christmas eve

G: hey kids-
Gen + Char: aunt adieee!

A: you guys came just in time, we're putting on Rudolph the red nosed reindeer on next

I check my phone and see it's like nine...dinner and desert was great...i'm tired...is this food coma? is this what adults talk about? i mean i'm an adult but like yanno...this must be food coma
A: *yawn* welp kids i think you better be heading back
Mon: yeah it's getting late
Gen: nuuuuu
G: well gee if you don't go to sleep soon i don't think santa'll be able to stop by...you wouldn't wanna get skipped would you?
Gen: *GASP* come on charlotte we gotta go to bed
Char: otay!
Mon: you two say bye to everyone
Gen+Char: bye byeee
I walk up to Gwen who's in a basket
A: hey gwen...you wanna say bye to your aunts? can you say bye?
Gwen: ba...ba
A: that'll do kid...that'll do
G: ...was that a babe referenc-
A: sh...anyways we better head out too...*whispers* the gifts are in the car
Mon: thanks...merry chirstmas
A: ditto
They leave and after i leave gifts under the tree we also leave. Once we get in the car i just take a deep breath in...and let it out before laying the chair down to rest
G: ...so...what did you think
A: ...i love christmas
