I wake up to my alarm going off
G: *yawn* good morning...adie?
A: i'm downstairs!
G: oh...cool
I change, to the bed and head downstairs to see Adie already eating breakfast. I pull up a chair next to her
A: morning babe
G: morning...you were up early
A: yeah set my alarm for six so yanno
G: you're really excited
A: *baby voice* i'm so cited! i've nevew been to a weddennn
G: it's really not that exciting
A: still i'm happy...welp i better feed fred and rad-
G: oh it's twitch and popcorn now remember?
A: *blank stare*...i-it is?
G: yeah baby we changed them yesterday after a couple days of debating
A: *knocks on head*
G: hey hey we've been over this don't do that to try and remember better it doesn't work...it just hurts your head
A: s-sorry...i can't...oh whatever i'll take your word for it aha
G: so when do we have to be over there?
A: uh...hold on
She gets out her phone and opens her notes app
A: they want the grooms maids and men over there by ten... yanno lots of stuff to get ready
G: oh the place is like an hour away we better get going soon
A: si! u-um...yeah we should...i'll feed t...twitch and...popcorn?
G: yeah
A: ight tight
I don't really know how long i'm planning on keeping those names. I know our dress and tux are over at the place we'll be getting ready with Charlie, Irene, Conner and...Payton-
G: hey adie?
A: yeah?
G: you think it'll be weird?...having yanno...pay over there?
A: why would it?
G: well yanno...his old job?...what he did to you and...

G: we'll be gone for like...a day they'll be fine

We get in the car and start driving
A: we locked the door right?
G: yep
A: ...and left water for the cats
G: yes adie
A: didn't leave any unnecessary lights on or tabs running right?
G: *chuckle* yanno you're starting to sound like a mom
A: i was just asking
G: everything's fine honey i-
...i still need to tell her about her sister-
G: ...the house and cats are fine
A: okay...yeah you're right...everything's fine
~~~small time skip~~~

G: hey adie it's fine-
A: WE COULD'VE JUST CRASHED WHAT THE HELL DO YOU M-MEAN!?! LIKE WHAT KINDA JERK JUST CUTS THRU TRAF-

I pull away when the light goes green
G: ...better?
A: *sigh*...yeah
She scary when she's angry...it's a good thing i'm driving
A: s-sorry
G: it's fine...i just want you to work on that road rage a little okay?...it scares people
A: yeah i know...*looks down* damn
G: what?
A: i've gained a couple
G: pfft don't be stupid babe you look fine-
I see her worrying in the corner of my eye...
A: i j-just...sorry you bringing up how Payton used to...it just reminded me
G: ...that's been over for a while now
A: i just can't...forget it...him...and how *sniff*
She puts down the sun visor and looks in the mirror...she runs her finger thru her hair on her side and sees the lines from the tattoo
A: ...i need a snack
G: are you sure?
A: yes gabbie i'm sure
G: you...you don't need to turn to food yanno-
A: gabbie please just...i k-know okay...please?
G: *sigh* there's a mcdonalds next exit
A: thank you
I know i should really give her other ways to cope with stress, heck I've TRIED i was her therapist...she'll regret it later and probably come crying to me about it
