Chapter 107 - Naming The Little Prince

"The Little Prince looks so cute" Atropa exclaimed admiringly the infant in Nandini's arm. The infant was throwing his arms in the air playing. Today he was wrapped in golden cloth looking cuter than usual. 

"He is going to be naughty child," Nandini replied as she looked at the child. 

"My lady, you are going to name him today. What kind of name do you prefer?" Atropa asked excitedly. 

Nandini's looked at her smiling slightly "something that will match his temper when he grows up in future" then her eyes narrowed "don't worry when your time will come I will choose a good name for your too" 

Hearing this Atropa's eyes widened and her face immediately turned red. Nandini ignored her reaction and played with the infant in her arms while Ageratina who was helping Maya to get dressed chuckled making Atropa redder. It was not a new thing as Nandini would never let a chance to poke and tease them. And nowadays she is teasing Atropa frequently. While on the other hand Atropa could not do anything but closed her eyes and endured the embarrassment. 

Once Maya got ready she walked towards the couch and sat down. Because she was still in her recovery period she felt tired and she couldn't move too much. After Nandini woke up it was already two weeks now and the naming ceremony of the little prince was arranged today. Because of the sudden tragic person they couldn't held the ceremony but even if it was late  they needed to perform to give the little prince a name and the identity of his life. 

"Are you tired?" Nandini asked as she sat down beside Maya. 

"A little" Maya nodded her head. 

"Ageratina" Nandini called out and Ageratina walked towards them with a small bottle and glass of water. Maya gave her confused look. 

"Eat it, this will help your body give some energy to attend this ceremony without any discomfort. You are in a tender situation where your body needs good rest" Nandini explained.

Ageratina forward the water and a red colour pill. Maya didn't question and took the pill. After sometime she felt the tiredness in her body slowly fading away making her refreshed. She was surprised and looked towards Nandini who was playing with the little prince. 

"I told you" Nandini laughed without glancing towards her. Maya couldn't help but shook her head. Though she never doubted Nandini's intention, she still managed to surprise her. 

Just then a man walked inside and bowed respectfully "your majesties, the priest is waiting in the hall. Her highness Empress Dowager asked to inform you" 

Nandini smiled and looked down at the child "looks like your auspicious time is here little prince" 

Soon they left Rose Palace. The ceremony was arranged in the Wind Palace. It was an open area surrounded by a beautiful flower garden. The Wind Palace was kept for a helping ceremony and other things. Many aged women attended the ceremony today.  The priest was sitting in the middle where a holy fire was set for the auspicious naming ceremony. The priest was chanting a few mantras while adding oil in the fire. Others who were waiting for the little prince saw the empress and new mother walking in. 

Chityakanta walked forward with a smile "the time is already here. The priest is already waiting for you to perform the ceremony" she said as she looked towards Maya. Nandini gave the child to her and led her towards the priest who was now waiting for them. Suhal walked forward and sat with Maya as the priest started to chant mantras and performed a few rituals again. Once everything was done he looked at the new parents. 

"All the rituals are done. Now you can perform the naming ceremony. For first please say the name in the ear of the child then declare to others" 

Maya smiled and nodded before looking towards Suhal. She leaned and whispered something to him which he nodded in agreement. After that Maya looked at the priest again "I want my sister in law to name my child"
