The three people stood there watching the two retreating figure before them. The two look like someone who achieved a great goal. They chat for a while before finally disappearing from the sight. Atropa sneered while Ageratina glared at the empty place. Nandini shook her head as she glanced towards her two maids. Looking at their expression she couldn't help but chuckled lightly. Their expression was quite funny to watch.
"What are you two glaring at? Didn't you see people's are really happy around" she said looking at them.
"My lady, that former empress does have bad intentions. She was happy that second prince was crippled for life" Atropa voiced first.
Ageratina nodded agreeing "that's right, looking at them, it feels like even if there was a way they will definitely prevent it from happening. Still living in this palace, their courage is quite appreciative"
Nandini just smiled "what can do we about that? Since they are happy then let them be. People's minds are too limited, they think what they see is true and so gradually accept it. But there are also some who are different. But sigh, this two mother-daughter pair does not fall in that different way" she turned and glanced towards the empty corridor before turning around.
"Let's go, We should visit Second Prince too"
Two maid walk behind her quietly following. Atropa pondered for a while before asking "my lady what are you going to do?"
Nandini smiled "what I should do as sister in law"
In the Heaven Palace...
"The disciple left the palace before giving some instructions. He said since the poison is out there's nothing to fear about more but..." Chityakanta's voice trembled. Her eyes wet again.
Manik looked at her silently. Though he want to give comfort but he don't know how too. He can't even say everything will be fine because he simply doesn't know if it will ever be fine. Thus he sighed shaking his head. All the words that he want to use to console his mother was swallowed back again.
"I have been seeing him like this. Ever since that incident, the glow of his face left and sometimes I think he is suffering greatly but he never voiced his pain" Chityakanta continued wiping her eyes.
"Mother, you need to bear this" Manik couldn't help but uttered "Vaibhav is a strong man. He won't give up on this. But seeing you like this he will break down naturally. He would never want his mother to be broken like this. Mother you are insulting his will for living by crying like this"
This words made Chityakanta stop crying and look at her son. Manik was right. She couldn't break down like this. She needed to be strong to handle this situation and to give comfort and reason to her son. She don't want to let her tears weaken her son no matter what. Since Vaibhav never accepted defeat then why as mother would she without any fight?
Thinking about this she nodded "you are right. I was muddled for a while. That child is strong enough to endure all this by himself. I can't let her down as his mother. It will definitely weakening his courage"
Manik smiled and nodded. Internally he sighed. He knew his mother loved that brother of him like her own child. There was no difference between them. But what the problem is that brother of his is quite arrogant. He will never accept defeat without a single fight and he knew that, that spirit has helped him to live these years even though being sitting on wheelchair.
The two people in the room sighed heavily again not knowing how to solve this problem.
In the Earth Palace...
Nandini and her maids walked inside the inner room. They saw the medic was still there instructing something to the nurse beside him. Once they saw her going inside they paid their respect.
"Disciple left?" Nandini asked.
The medic nodded "that's right. He said the poison is out of his highness's body so there won't be any problem. He instructed some medicine before leaving. He also said it will nourish his highness's body fast to help him get over the weak body"
Nandini nodded before looking at Vaibhav who slightly smiled at her.
"It has been many days since sister in law arrived in this palace but this youger brother couldn't give her proper respect at all. I hope sister won't mind my inability" Vaibhav said with bitter smile. Though he stiil has the urge to fight his being a cripple but he couldn't help but feel hurt thinking about it.
Nandini smiled "I told you. Refrain me from those courtesies. I always lived a isolated life so those courtesy is not something I am eager to have" then she looked at the medic "I have something important to discuss with second Prince, so honoured medic please spare us for a moment"
The medic nodded and gestured his nurse to follow him out. After the two people left Atropa walk forward before closing the door tightly. Vaibhav looked at the three with confusion. He couldn't understand what's happening?
"Sister in law, what do you want to talk about?" He asked with smile. Nandini did not replied but walk towards the bed. Ageratina pushed a chair for her to seat. After sitting on the chair Nandini smiled at Vaibhav.
"Whatever I will say, will younger brother believe me?"
Vaibhav frowned but nodded "of course, you are my sister in law. From my point, you won't hurt me nor you have any ill intension so I will definitely trust sister in law"
Hearing his response Nandini couldn't help but nod "oh, everything? Including the point that if I say your legs are curable?"
"Yes, yes, of cour-" but those words left in middle when Vaibhav stare at Nandini with a shock. What did she say? His legs are curable? And she said that easily? Like it's nothing?
"Sis-sister in law you-you are saying that-"
Nandini nodded before he could finish his words.
"So do you believe me?" She asked again.
Vaibhav looked at her for a moment then sighed. There was a warm feeling inside his heart that he never felt in these years. He don't know why but he want to trust everything she say.
He nodded "I do"
"You don't have to feel anxious. Your legs are not dead. It still has its will like yours. It just has lost its energy that's all" Nandini replied.
"You mean... My leg problem is not severe?" Vaibhav frowned. He always heard those doctors said his legs are not curable or there is no medicine that can cure his problem. But hearing her say this it sounds so easy...so easy to even believe without any hesitation? He himself couldn't believe he is thinking like this.
Nandini could see what he is thinking so she nodded "that's true. Your leg problem is most easy to cure. It won't take much time"
Another shock fall on his head. Won't take much time?
All these years he is living under illusion?
"No it's not" Nandini answered his unasked questions. "You are thinking too much, though I said it's easy but it does not mean to be easy for others too. As a prince you should have clear mind to think about situation and to take steps. With so many thoughts running in one place you won't be able to get desirable results"
Vaibhav nodded without hesitation "sister is right. I was muddle headed for a moment"
His sister in law is not someone that can be fooled easily. He already know this point and also that she can see through a person's mind clearly. So hiding is not something that's going to work on her point.
Finally gathering some courage he asked "as sister in law said. How long it will take for me to cure?"
Nandini smiled and replied something that throw third shock to him "one month"
