Chapter 63 - Beauty Vs Beauty

Himat looked at the woman sitting casually. There's no fear in her eyes. Even though he has seen her before but that was when she was wearing a official male attire so he didn't give much attention to her. But now that she dressed herself as a lady, her whole figure changed in a swift. Now looking at her he suddenly felt unsettled in his heart.

Where Pari looked at the woman before griiting her teeth. She put her best warm smile "I apologise for that but it's just a misunderstanding. Mother wants me to handle thise things so that I can get experience. If mother did not insist then I would not have stepped forward to handle it" after saying this she felt satisfied. No one ever able to refute her words. And she is really good in word war.

Deputy minister grabbed his wine glass then took a sip. He has seen many like this and no one ever able to beat her daughter in words. So he felt satisfied as a small smiled played on his lips. On the other hand Lamya and Liya's face become uneasy.

Nandini raised her eyebrows before looking at Manik "see, officer I told you already. Patchal is really different from capital. Here the young ladies handle household arrangements and even explains things which is the responsibility of the mistress or wives in the family. I even think that, young ladies in Patchal born with such high inteligent mind that they don't need their mothers to teach yet it was them teaching their mothers"

When this words were out everyone's face turn shock. Lamya and Liya looked at Nandini with shock while Himat's face has stunned expression. Pari bite her lips so hard that it almost bleed. Even the servants are also stunned. First explanation was really casual but what Nandini says was really reasonable.

I the house it was a wife's duty to arrange and entertain the guests while the young ladies chat with their friends casually enjoying. But here the situation is different from it. Pari was arranging everything while even taking the responsibility of a elder to explain things like a head of the family. And for a young lady to do such things while the mistress is still there is a meaning to everyone that the master of the house is biased towards the family members and even don't know how to handle things properly.

This is not refuting Pari but instead it was a direct attack and slapping the face of deputy minister hard.

Manik looked at deputy minister "deputy minister really raised his daughter well that even before marriage she know how to handle second wives and concubines"

Deputy minister's face turned ashen hearing it. He never thought the other party will give a hard slap on his face like this. Words are really powerful and now he understood it clearly. This slapping was more hard than the physical one. It ripped his earned reputation before the official officer and even before his servants who was watching them silently.

With great embarrassment deputy minister tried to give smile "it's a misunderstanding"

"Oh" Nandini cover her mouth with handkerchief "it was misunderstanding then what is the truth?" She looked at Pari "young lady really had great abilities. I wonder how old you are that you are still staying unmarried"

Pari's face stiffened hearing it. She was almost over the age of marriage but because of her beauty no one can detect her age. And she also used it really well. But before this  no one has raised such questions about her marriage.

"She is young and still needs to learn more things from her mother so I am keeping her for time being" deputy minister replied forcing a smile.

"Oh, still needs to learn. But seeing today's dinner arrangements I don't think she needs anything to learn" Nandini replied then glanced at Lamya who was sitting silently "mistress should keep close relationship with the eldest daughter, hope you can learn more things from her and may will help you in future after she married off"
