Ebony went into her room and set her book bag on the chair before going to the dresser and changing into her tank top and PJ pants. crawling into bed she snuggled the pillow that smelled like Violet. The next morning she woke up sprawled sideways on the bed and all her other pillows except the one that smelled like violet was on the floor.

" mmm, I don't wanna get up," 

Ebony grumbled and then decided she better if she were to have breakfast, she was going to visit Violet in her free period. Still have to keep up with classes even tho she would do just about anything to be by Violet's bedside at the moment. Maybe if she grabbed a quick bite she would have time to go visit before morning charms class.

Her best friend Alicia came up to her before she had a chance to sit and eat breakfast to say " I heard what happened to Violet, I'm so sorry had I known anything I wouldn't have said anything to weaver. I knew she adored you but I didn't think anyone would get harmed."

" It was my fault I was blind this whole time thinking she was just one of those people who liked me as a pal and wanted to participate in my little get-togethers. well, I'm going to grab some breakfast then check in with Violet in the hospital wing."

Alica nodded and punched Ebony's shoulder before heading to her table to grab her things. She had about half an hour or so before class began. After eating her breakfast she checked the time and had just enough time to get to class so she would have to wait to see Violet. This realization automatically puts her in a grumpy mood. Bumping into a second-year Slytherin she said " Watch it twerp." before she had a chance to think better of it. Their eyes just widened and mumbled an apology before walking passed.

Her head was in a daze even the teachers could tell Ebony had a lot on her mind. She didn't get the greatest of welcome due to the fact she made her house lose points and nearly had someone close to her almost die. The rumors were running around like crazy and when she entered the room the chatter stopped and they all just looked at her. Which she didn't even pay attention to. Normally she would feel the pressure of all the stares and expectations but she only had one thing on her mind and that was how Violet was. She hasn't cared about anyone as she cared for her, not even her family.

She respected her elders as she was raised to, but that doesn't mean she liked them. They were her legal guardians and that was about as close as she was to them. Even her cousins were just nuisances that took up space. She had no problem leaving them in the dust just to prove she can be something through her diligence and will to succeed. And now that she knows how good it feels to love someone she isn't going to just let it go. Even if Violet didn't want to see her, it would hurt but it would have to come out of her mouth to her face. She was terrified that Violet wouldn't want to see her and that made it that much easier to be closed off than to give in to the trivial rumor thread. 

By the time lunch came around she hurried to where violet was, only to find out she wasn't there. They had just released and she was eating lunch. A student from her house gave her class notes to copy. Ebony hurried down to the main hall and saw her in her normal spot. She walked up to violet and handed her a note that she had written and smiled weakly before heading to her own table.

The note read [hey Violet, I apologize that you almost died, I honestly didn't know weaver liked me like that and got so jealous she poisoned you, and It's my fault so If you don't feel like speaking to me that would make me very sad but I would respect your wishes. Just know you are the only one I love and If you would have me I would love to continue with our relationship even after this year. Check yes or no at the bottom if you would like to continue being with me.]

Violet checked one and walked over to where Ebony was and handed her the note back and saw it said yes as soon as she saw the relief and happiness shine through her eyes Violet kissed ebony in front of everyone and whispered. " one condition, we do not hide our affections ever again, the moment you do we are done." 

" Done, I will make a blood pact on it right now if you want, just let me be in your life, I want to stand by you and be there for the good and the bad. For when things go crazy and even tho you almost died because of me you still want to be with me means more than I could ever put into words."

She smiled and kissed Ebony on the lips getting a few catcalls from both of their tables. Making Ebony blush a bit before holding her hand and gently kissing her knuckles. 

" You don't need to make a blood pact unless you really want to but I do have to go to my table, kinda sad I can't sit next to you."

Ebony looked around and chuckled to herself as she took out her wand and tapped Violet's robe and tie changing its color and logo to Slytherin. "And now you can." she moved over so Violet could sit next to her and even tho she felt nervous none of the teachers seemed to be bothered by it.

Violet whispered, " wish you would have done that this whole time, using transfiguration to change the logo and color is pretty impressive, wish I would have thought of that."
