After all her classes Ebony finally ended up in the library where Violet found her, she was looking for her everywhere, and she was lucky to catch her in the one place Violet knew Ebony would show up. Plopping down next to Ebony with an exasperated sigh making Ebony jump about four feet out of her chair. 

"Geeze, slam your bag any louder and the librarian would have a cow." Ebony smiled as she rolled her eyes at her, causing Ebony to get serious and lightly take her chin and moved it so Violet was looking at her.

"Don't roll your eyes at me missy, or I will have to punish you, is that clear? you are to have respect when your Dominant talks to you. Have I given you any reason not to respect me?"

Violet's eyes went wide at the sudden shift in the atmosphere. Knowing she was getting slack with how she respected Ebony her Akra. " yes Akra, and no you have not given me any reason not to respect you, I will be more careful how I respond to you in the future."

Ebony nodded and removed her hand from Violet's chin and kissed her. "Good, I know today has been a weird one, everyone is talking about what happened earlier today, I'm trying to write out a list of those who might have the motive to kill a 5th-year Slytherin. I'm not sure if it was to protect me or to scare me, either way, I'm sure this has something to do with me. I was seen in the presence of that 5th year when I did the fake date with the girl who blackmailed me to go on a date with her."

"Maybe they may know who was after them? " sighing deeply she put her hands on her cheeks and rested her elbows on the table. Violet got out her quill and parchment paper and began writing down some names of students that might have been involved, as she saw them act peculiar throughout the day that she brushed off and couldn't ignore anymore, as everything is going to be under a microscope till the murder gets settled and the rightful person caught.

Violet finished writing the names and handed them to Ebony. "Here is a list of names and their house, they were acting weird more than usual. I think there is a series of people behind this. I know the teachers won't let us anywhere near the body to investigate the most we can do is make a list and hand it in, so they can start interviewing. 

Ebony added a few of the people who she knew didn't like the group of 5th-year that got slayin'. After looking at the list she rolled it up and packed up her bag giving Violet a kiss before she went to go to the top floor where the headmaster's office was. As she was walking she ran into the head of her house and thought maybe it would be best for them to hand over the list of possible suspects as they were an adult and she was just a bit shy of it herself.

" Professor, I have a list of people who have been acting odd today and those who I would know had an issue with the formally slain classmate, with the help of a fellow student we narrowed down some."

The professor seemed shocked but grateful, as they let out a sigh and took the scroll, and examined it closely before nodding and thanking her for going over and beyond what was expected. The compliment made her blush a bit as she rubbed the back of her head and smiled. 

" It was all just me, Violet Evergreen wrote down most the names and was noticing the odd behavior. She was the one that suggested we write it out and give it to someone in charge. I was going to present it to the headmaster but It's probably best that it be handled through the right channels."

With that, she turned around and headed back to her own house. Feeling like she did something good she had a bounce in her step. Finding Violet near the kitchens getting a late-night snack. When she looked up she automatically smiled at Ebony.

"How did it go? did you give it to the headmaster?" Violet paused and took a bit of her late-night snack.

" I gave it to the head of the Slytherin house, and I might have dropped your name as noticing the odd behavior, so if they come up to you and award your house points don't be surprised. Can I have some of that?  it looks delicious."

Violet smiled and handed her the other lemon bar she had and smiled. " sure here ya go, they are delicious and light." 

Ebony smiled and nibbled at it and she nodded her head before holding up a finger and whispering with a slight mouth full. " these should be outlawed." she laughed and continued to make idle talk with Violet as they both enjoyed the lemon bars. Soon after hearing a funny story they were both out of the lemon bar and tossed the paper that they were sorted in away and there was a moment of silence as they held hands and smiled at each other.

"This year has been definitely an interesting one Akra. Smiling slightly she whispered. " I should really thank Alica if it wasn't for the silly game we wouldn't be here."

" Tell me about it" Ebony chuckled and slid her hand into her robes and pulled her into a close hug her lips meeting the top of Violet's head. Violet blushed and looked up and taped her lower lip making Ebony smile as she dipped her head to kiss Violet on the lips. 

" Goodnight my love, I shall see you tomorrow, hopefully, we can get to the bottom of who offed that 5th year and why."

Violet nodded and headed toward her house, and waited till Ebony was at her own door and they both said their individual password at the same time.
