As Ebony entered her homeroom she saw a few of those that she wrote. They were sitting on the couch waiting for her. She held up her hand for a moment and said 

"one moment guys got an important thing to do before we talk." 

they nodded and started talking excitedly not knowing exactly what she was needing them for.

Ebony went into her room and grabbed her favorite worn shirt it was a long sleeve and had the thumb cut out in the cuff of them as they were a little long but she liked it that way. It may be slightly baggy on violet, she was glad she told her to only wear it to bed. Hurrying back out of her room she opened the portrait and skipped to Violet. When she got there and handed her the shirt she smiled and hugged it to her and sniffed it. Which Ebony got the wrong impression as she said. 

" I just washed them like yesterday so it doesn't stink." 

" oh I know but it smells like you so I was sniffing it as it is my fav smell."

That made Ebony blush and rub the back of her head and gave a smirk.

" I'm glad that my smell is your favorite," Ebony whispered and pulled her close and kissed her then told her

" good night my sweet girl, now don't get in trouble, leave that for me so I have something to reward you for." 

Violet's eyes went wide as she leaned in " You can get rewarded for being in trouble?"

Ebony chuckled and put a finger to violet's mouth to shush her. 

"Later love if you want to contact me, try the fire in your common room but make sure no one is around ok."

She just nodded and made shooing motions with her hands. " I can't say the password with you there talk to you tomorrow Akra."

Ebony smiled and kissed the top of her head before hurrying back to her own common room where she had three fifth-year students who wanted to get some brownie points with their prefect.

As she entered her own house common room, she walked up to them and asked them as plain as she could without giving away any type of thing that could cause any raised suspicion about the special parties. She needed foot soldiers to help deliver the envelopes the owls were being watched and monitored plus the more people to hand out the less suspicious it would be.

" would either of you mind doing a small favor for me now and again, I promise to write a good report on you all if you do this small thing for me, I sometimes have special letters that I need to be distributed and the owls are being monitored at the moment so I need you five to help me, I will tell you which house to give it to and the letters will only open for the right person, let's just say its a little insurance that only the selected few will get to know what is inside. Just say the name to their prefect and they will give out the letter to the right person."

They all looked at each other and shrugged. 

" sure." they all said 

"thank you a bunch you have no idea how much that will help me. I will tell our head of house that you are helping me with something and that you are doing an exemplary job. Now off to bed before you get caught after hours."

They all nodded and hurried to their dormitories. Finally having the homeroom to herself Ebony went over to the fireplace and said a simple spell to make her face appear in the firepit of Hufflepuff common room where Violet was waiting by.

"pssst, hey Violet you there?" 

Ebony whispered into the fire and as soon as Violet got to the fireplace her face appeared in the Slytherin common room.

"yeah I'm here, what did you need to talk about Akra?"

" well, I am planning an event and I needed to know what your favorite colors were, plus I really wanted to hear your voice before bed."

" My favorite colors are, red, black, blue, green, and orange. maybe you could decide something from that? not sure why you wanted to know what my favorite colors were but alright, better head to bed before our prefect comes back to make sure no one is in the common room for curfew, and even though you are one I don't want to get you into more trouble. Talk to you tomorrow k ?"

Ebony took a quick glance around and nodded and disconnected the link with a kiss blow. After she did that she lightly poked the fire with a poker and then got up and went into her room and got ready for bed. As she got on her pj's she thought of Violet snuggling her pillow as she wore her black shirt to bed with a smile. 

The next day Ebony asked Violet if she knew any tailors, which she was surprised about but nodded and pointed out one of the fellow Hufflepuff. " he doesn't really like to tell people about it but as long as he gets an invite to the party I'm sure he would happily help you, but you have to be nice to him or I won't kiss you for a whole week."

Ebony chucked and said, " oooh so maybe you do like to switch roles from time to time." Violet shook her head and put up her hands and put her hands over her mouth . " I don't want to take over or anything, but he is a boy and is pretty sensitive about his work. It's more of a hobby for him." 

Ebony made a sign for keeping a secret by running a finger over her mouth and throwing away the key. " mums the word, promise. I just need to talk with him, could you have him meet me somewhere so we can talk privately?" 

Violet nodded" yeah sure, I can try "
