Both Tsuki and Naruto sighed in relief at the sight of Yuki. The tension in the room fading away as the elder gave a small smile. "Hey, sorry it took me so long to get down here, there was some stuff I wanted to get but we should all leave before he comes back."Warily Naruto shifted forward away from Tsuki but paused so she can lean on him for support. Realizing how weak she was, he squatted down in front of her with his arms out behind his back. Tsuki squinted her eyes, huffing. "Um, what are you doing Naruto?"
He grinned even though she was unable to see his face. "Don't start changing back to your usual self now, there's no time and you're hurt really badly, ya know?!" He paused to emphasize the urgency by swinging his arms frantically. "Just hop on so we can go back home!"
Yuki held in a laugh as she watched her younger sister grumble but not without noticing a small smile make its way on her lips. She held the door open for Naruto to pass and then proceeded to lead them down the corridor. Naruto gazed around in wonder, looking around as he noticed a few other doors passing by as they kept walking.
"Say, where do these doors go to?"
Yuki glanced back at the duo and hummed in acknowledgment. "Well the village elders used these tunnels as an escape route. The rooms here were more exclusively used for our grandmother who was to sick to live up above." She opened up a door that led up a few stairs, "We will go this way, this passage leads back to our house Tsuki, once we get there we will head back to Konoha."
"But what about Rio? Won't he come back? It seems suspicious that he just... disappeared like that." Tsuki said.
"Well I haven't ran into him," Yuki led them up the stairs where a bookcase was blocking the next door. She shoved a book off and it slid open, pushing her way through to scan the room quickly before ushering them inside. "He's after the necklace and there's no way for him to get it off of you even if he was to kill you. He's smarter than that, unfortunately he was just 'playing' with you both."
Naruto helped Tsuki down onto a nearby chair and looked around the room in awe. The room was small, no windows were seen so it was pretty dark in there. He watched Yuki light up some candles that were still there and that's when he noticed the bag she had. "What's in the bag, Yuki-san?"
She gave it a shake and smiled, "Just some scrolls I grabbed in my fathers office. There's a bunch of history and techniques I need to teach Tsuki if we're gonna kill Rio."
"You're gonna kill him?!"
"There's no other way, in fact I'm really sick of him. We have no idea what power that necklace holds so it's better if I get an understanding of it so I can protect Tsuki, ok?" She looked through a box that had a first aid kit and she pulled it open, rummaging through it to find some bandages. "We're gonna fix Tsuki up and then get the hell out of here. There's no good being here for any longer... just a lot of bad memories. Here, help me remove her shirt."
Naruto stammered, his face flushing. "I-I can't do that!"
He paused as a pointed look was thrown his way. "We need to stop the bleeding before she bleeds out."
Yuki pulled up Tsukis' shirt, tearing it in the process and throwing it to the side as she nodded at Naruto to hand her the bandages. She grimaced as she shook a bottle of alcohol in front of her little sisters face, warning her of the pain she will have to endure in order to get her injuries cleaned. With that, Tsuki smiled and instinctively gripped onto Naruto's shoulder as the liquid was poured onto her side. "There's a lot you don't know about our family Naruto, blood was spilt on this land for selfish reasons. Thank you for protecting my sister until now."
