I'll Kill Ya (Naruto Love)

A New Year Special

It was that time of year again, and no, I'm not talking about Christmas, Halloween or Valentine Day. It was a few hours before the New Years festival and at least the whole village was going. I thought it was actually a great idea for the genin to get their minds off of Sasuke and Yuki was part of the festival committee, so getting details on the event was pretty easy.

Exactly ten hours till New Years and eight hours until the festival starts.

Everyone was either going with friends or a date and here I was, standing outside a store with Sakura, Ino, Hinata and TenTen. They suggested we go kimono shopping together for the festival and I had no room to argue.

Hinata was a stuttering mess as Ino and TenTen tease her on which kimono she should wear. Sakura was trying on some and I was still looking for one. Today was suppose to be a relaxing day. Kimono shopping, going to the hot springs, getting our hair down and playing different games at the festival. Then the whole night ending with the countdown and a New Years kiss with that special someone.

Ino and Sakura was boasting about me getting a date but I wasn't so happy about the idea. Last time they set me with a date, I was almost taken by some drunk man and Naruto calling me his girlfriend. It wasn't the happiest of happy memories I have.

"I don't understand Hinata, just get the purple one, it matches your hair." TenTen told her as Hinata blushed, stammering for words.

I rummaged through the racks. Then I paused at a kimono that was pale pink with white flowers. The middle was supported with a black corset and yellow flowers, tied with a red ribbon. Sakura came to my eyes and her eyes sparkled as I showed her the kimono. "Ah, Tsuki! Thats a really beautiful kimono."

Ino and TenTen paused their teasing and came over with a red Hinata behind them. "She's right, he even matches your personality. Really light but a hinge of darkness."

They laughed and I cracked a smile. "Should I... try it on?" I asked.

They pushed me towards the fitting rooms and I locked the door behind me. I slipped on the kimono and tied the corset over it. The ribbon was already attached so I unlocked the door and walked out. Ino cheered, "Its perfect! Now we just need to get you a date and head out for the rest of our day."

I nodded and changed back into my regular clothing and paid for the kimono. We went to my house and placed our bags down. "So what should we do now? The festival starts in another six hours." Sakura said.

Ino hummed. "Maybe we should go to the hot springs and relax. Then we can get our hair and nails done. Well, only hair for Tsuki."

I shook my head, "I can do both."

TenTen clasped her hands together. "Then it's decided, we'll go ahead and do that then after we get pampered, we can come back to Tsuki place and get dressed. They left the apartment.

Meanwhile, as the girls headed towards the hot springs, they didn't notice that the boys were watching from afar. Kiba sighed and glanced at Naruto who was intensely staring at one girl specifically: Tsuki.

He always could tell that the knucklehead liked her but he thought it would be a good idea to tease him about it also. Shikamaru, Choji and Neji also watched as the blonde kept watching them.

"Naruto, staring won't get her to go on a date with you to the festival." Kiba stated.

Naruto flushed and glanced back at the group of boys who looked at her bluntly. He looked down and sighed, slowly falling to sit down on the ground. "You guys are right, but it seems like their busy."

Shikmaru glanced at the countdown clock, "Well, you got five hours, and I know for a fact that they aren't staying there all five hours." He has five hours till the festival started to ask Tsuki. Seven hours until the New Years kiss. He was planning on asking Tsuki to be his date for days but ever since what he said at the hospital, he felt shy and awkward from the way he acted.
