That damn idiot, Yuki spat as Naruto had ran off hours before. He just made the retrieval mission ten times harder than it was supposed to be. Yuki already had a clear idea on where her sister and that blonde knucklehead were being held, but she didn't want to rush int here without a plan. Grandfather Rio wasn't stupid enough to not know she wasn't already here as well.

She sighed in annoyance as she glanced around the village that was still in ruins. Why couldn't things be easier for them. If those events all those years ago never happened, would they have been happier?

Yuki walked inside a old shop that used to sell weapons and scrolls. Higakure was known for being a small village that mostly only held members of the clan, quiet and reserved, which resulted in them not being as trained as other villages. Even though they had the weapons and materials available, ninjas were pretty scarce.

She rummaged through a few drawers before clicking her tongue in triumph. "This is great, who would've thought this would be here."

It was a old map that had the compete layout to the underground tunnels. It was only available for the head elders, the royals and head family if there was ever any sudden threats they could make a quick escape to these tunnels that led outside of the village. "Concerning why it's even in here but whatever. If Rio was smart enough, he would have thought to hold Tsuki captive in the tunnels." Her fingers skimmed the page before tapping against a certain room. It was one of the biggest rooms under the village as it was used as a research facility in order to cure the sick.

The sick specially being Nini Higa.

Her mother told her all about her grandmother Nini and how special this room was to Rio. "Too bad he's more of an idiot for hiding her somewhere so obvious." Yuki quickly folded up the map before making her journey towards the tunnels.

Don't worry you two, hold on a little longer.

The pounding in Tsukis' head wasn't going away anytime soon. She woke back up after Rio left, much to the blondes relief that was sitting in front of her. Her body was aching all over, fingers twitching and eyes trembling as if she wanted to cry. It was all too much, she didn't expect coming back here was going to cause her so much pain again. The pain was all too familiar when the village first gotten massacred. She just wanted to leave and go back to Konoha, forget about Higakure and see her friends. She wanted to see Kakashi sensei and surprisingly enough she even wanted to hang out with Sakura.

She wanted to do sisterly activities with Yuki and make up for all the lost time that they were separated from one another. Maybe even summon Scar just to piss him off but secretly hoping he will tell her stories of his adventures with her mother.

Then there was Naruto, she didn't know what to do with him. First probably apologize for all the things she's said and done to him. She never wanted to hurt him even though he just wanted to be her friend. The scary feeling of someone being close to even though you only bring misfortune was what was haunting her. She was afraid if she got close to him that he would have to bare the consequences. Their friendship has grown so much since the first time they have met. There's also him liking her, she didn't know what to do about that as well. What's there to even like about her? She was nothing but rude to him for the longest and even put him in danger.
