That night I head to the control room. I hope the video camera picked up who Eric made hang from the chasm. There is only one camera in the chasm, though, so I'm not sure that it'll work.

I go onto my computer and type in the password. It says that someone logged into this account and altered it 46 minutes ago.

When I get to the chasm footage I see a chunk of it has been cut out. It shows the initiates walking up to the chasm and then it skips to where they are leaving.

Stupid, Eric! If there is no proof then he can't get in any trouble.

I walk into my apartment and go to sleep, worrying about what happened yesterday.

--Time Lapse--

The next morning I get up and hop into the shower. After that I change into some new clothes and then get myself a bowl of cereal from the kitchen. Once I finish my cereal I look at the clock and realize that I'm late. Not to late that it's to the point where everyone will get here before me, but to the point that I might not get to choose who fights who. Hopefully I still get to pick that because Eric won't be so nice when it comes to deciding their fate.

I walk down to the Training Room and look at the board. My eyes immediately glace up at Tris.

Oh my gosh, why do I care so much?

I look up at the board and see whose name is next to hers.

Peter.

Seriously? He is really going to make her fight him? Of course! Tris is going to think this is all my fault. She'll think that I'm the one that made the fight happen.

Tris' face turns red as she looks at the board and her friend Al says something to her.

First to fight is Molly and Edward. Edward will defiantly win if height and size mean anything, which in my experience does.

They fight until Molly drops on the floor, oblivious to everything.

Now it's Peter and Tris' turn. I obviously really want Tris to win, but I doubt she will sadly.

"You okay there, Stiff? You look like you might cry.. I might go easy on you if you cry." he says.

They both stand there for a few seconds, waiting for the other one to make a move.

"Come on, Stiff. Just one little tear. Maybe some begging." he says again.

Tris raises her leg and tries to kick him in the side. He grabs her foot and pulls it forward before she can, knocking her onto the floor.

"Stop playing with her. I don't have all day." Eric snaps. What else do you have to do? Stay home, sit on the couch, watch TV, and pick your nose?

Peter raises his fist and punches Tris right in the jaw.

I don't want to watch this.

He then walks in front of her, kicks her in the stomach, and pulls her hair, as if to hold her still. She looks as if she might pass out any second.

Tris falls and starts coughing. She stands up and Peter punches her side, knocking her over.

I really can't watch this.

She tries to punch him back, but fails miserably. He then smacks her ear with the palm of his hand.

I'm done.

I can't take this anymore.

I really can't.

I walk out of the training room, letting the doors slam behind me. I don't know where I'm letting my feet take me. Eric is probably just standing there, questioning why I left. I think I just gave away something to Eric.

So what? Maybe I do like Tris.
