His Delicate Queen

Noor was admitted in the adjacent room, shehnaaz was still in the danger. He sat out of the ot with his head held in his hands. He was much calmer now, but silent tears would visit his eyes every now and then. All he did was to pray to god, to keep his child and his wife safe.

"Keep them safe allah please...." He mumbled looking upwards. Feroz was extremely numb. All he did to her since last few years came rushing in his mind. He never gave her sufficient love. Love it was all both of them lacked in their life, shehnaaz and sidharth it is. They both never got something which was enough for them to believe in love. And finally when they found each other, almighty had his plans all set to drift them away again.

"Shehenshah...we need to talk something..." The doctor operating noor came out making his heart beat pace up. He didn't knew what should he do next. What if he had some bad news with himself, what if his child was not safe?? 100 of what ifs came running in his mind. But he held himself strong and followed the doctor in the cabin.

"Y...yes doctor...is..is everything fine..." He asked, trying so damn to prevent himself from breaking down.

"Shehenshah... Noor bibi, she is pregnant.." the doctor announced and he  looked not at all surprised.

"I know..." He said coldly and doctor was shocked to be honest but soon he covered up it with his professionalism. The doctor nodded and continued further.

"So she is 5 months pregnant, means she has crossed her first termister. So miscarriage ke chances are less there but allah ki shukr hai she didn't fell on her abdomen, so bacche ko jyaada injury nahi hui hai... Baby and mother both are fine. But...now lets come to the crucial part. She had so much of blood loss. Abhi fortunately blood bank mein blood available tha so we proceeded further but her bp is high than normal and foetus is smaller than it should be. The baby would surely be preterm but we have diagnosed that their are chances he or she may suffer from down syndrome. But don't worry for now everything is safe, lets hope for the best." The doctor gave him all the brief about everything and he listened everything attentively but his mind, it would always drift back to scene where his wife was lying lifeless.

"Nothing should come out about NOOR's pregnancy" he warned calmly yet Sternly

Sidharth nodded coldly at the doctor an moved out of the room he directly went towards faizal and pulled him aside.

"Faizal... Shehnaaz kaisi hai... Doctor bola kya kuch..." Sidharth asked desperately in a tone dripping with heavy worry.

"Nahi they are still operating...' faizal sighed making him nod with heavy heart.

"Faizal... I need to tell something to you..."

"Bolo bhai sab theek hai na..." Faizal ask as he saw sidharth's deadly serious face.

"Faizal..... Noor is pregnant with my child " he said making faizal look at him with wide eyes.

"Stop kidding shehenshah..." Faizal said not able to believe his ears.

"Do you think I will kid at this situation..." Sidharth said with gritted teeths.

"You...I mean after marriage....you and noor.."

"Nahi yaar faizal nikaah ke baad aisa kuch kyu karunga... She already 5 months pregnant, that means it was before nikaah..."

"So ... Is the baby okay.." faizal asked still recovering from the shock.

" For now everything is okay but mujhe shehnaaz ki fikr horrhi hai... Bohout guilty feel horrha hai...aisa lag rha hai mein khudke hathose khudka gala ghot rha hu...this is so numbing for me...  Vo thik hojaaye bas..." He said with cracking voice trying every means to hold back the sour liquid which was threatening to fall of his eyes.
