Chapter 45 ✨

1 week later ~

Ibrahim ~

My wedding was officially a week away and I had to admit , I haven't been spending time with Tahany and Housain as much. Today I was going to take Tahany and Housain to Dave & Busters to have a little fun .

I was going to break the news that next week  "I was going to be on a 3 day trip " and Housain was going to be with my parents .

It was actually the weekend of my wedding but I couldn't tell her that . Yet .

I was planning on telling her when I came home from the " 3 day trip ." Housain had to be at my moms so that he could attend the wedding . Luckily Housain was mostly on the quiet side and didn't say everything he saw because I would be in deep shit.

After we played a couple of arcade games and ate I decided to tell her .

" So baby ." I said holding her hand .

" Today was fun." She said .

" It really was , we haven't done this in a while ." I said .

" Yea because your always buried in your work." I said .

" Yeaaa , but I promise after this 3 day trip I'm all yours ." I said .

" What 3 day trip ?" She asked scrunching her eyebrows .

" I need to go on a 3 day trip from the 23rd
to the 25th." I said .

" For whattt , where are you going , and can I come ?" She asked

" Not far , I'm going to Philly for work baby ." I said .

" Whatever, I have plans one of those days anyways ." She said rolling her eyes .

" Oh yea and my parents are trying to see Housain for those days ."

" Alright , in shaa allah ." She said in a annoyed tone.

" I'm all yours after okay ?" , I said kissing her cheek.

" You've just been missing in action, you never have time for me or really know what's going on."

" You've had harder projects than this before but you still made time for me , now you just don't care ."

" I tried to be patient with you because I know how important it is , but I've been feeling unwanted lately ."

" You didn't even realize my grandfather came from Egypt. Do better Ibrahim." Tahany said .

" I'm so sorry and your right I promise I'll make it up after this trip , in shaa allah I will. Really he came back, Alhamdullilah let's go visit him right now ." I said .

3 hours later

We finally got to Tahany's house and visited her family . Everyone was excited so see us. We had a great time and her grandfather was so cool  but it was time to go home.

I put Housain to sleep and then came to our room to see Tahany fast asleep . I felt so guilty for doing this to this beautiful soul.

" Forgive me ." I whispered kissing her forehead as I drifted off to sleep .
