Heyo mayos, your favorite author is here! (Was that too vain of me?)
I had this idea of opening like a Q&A thing but had another idea on top of that: Tell you a bunch of facts or little details about the process of writing "Let's Sea."
There will be a designated spot if you do decide to ask me questions at the end of this chapter. I'll try to answer all of them to the best of my ability. You can ask about the book, me, or anything in-between. I've never done this sort of thing before so be mindful of that when asking your questions.

- When I first came up with an idea for the fic, I didn't have a title. I only wrote "Let's See - Itto" but I somehow mistyped and wrote "Let's Sea". It sorta stuck as it's a play on words and the first few chapters take place on that island.
- In my drafts, your mother's name was "Elise"
- I nearly scrapped the project entirely before I even posted the first chapter because I didn't know what happens after they got off the island. For weeks, I didn't know what happened next.
- Y/n's backstory was supposed to be more tragic but I lightened it because it didn't match Itto's character. Idk I felt that it couldn't be too dark.
- I genuinely didn't anticipate for this fic to get as popular as it did in such a short time.
- I forgot Y/n had a pocket knife and never mentioned it again. Maybe some of you thought she lost it after their encounter with the sea monster but nope, it's just me forgetting stuff. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
- Granny Oni is a girlboss.
- I write from my phone though I have considered doing it on my laptop.
- There's at least two other male characters that have a crush on Y/n, perhaps a third but they haven't interacted enough. You haven't seen this third character yet so it's kinda teaser for future chapter. (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧
- Itto still has nightmares of dying his hair barf green.
- Y/n originally had no Vision.
- Ushi wasn't going to be included until I wrote a chapter that mentioned him. Out of curiousity, I took time to write a scene with him in it and fell in love. Needless to say, I had to rewrite 7 chapters just to include him. Boy, am I glad I did.
- Christmas with an Oni is my favorite chapter. I had so much fun writing it. ( ◜‿◝ )♡
- Valentine's with an Oni is my least favorite. It took too long to make. Though I really like the Valentine's card I made.
- Itto only snores loudly when he hasn't slept well in a long time.
- Y/n doesn't like seafood but loves chicken. She's also low-key afraid of heights.
- It's kinda difficult to write Itto's dialogue at times because I can't write HOW he says certain things. In my head it's funny but writing it down takes the Itto out of it.
- I was determined to get Red Velvet Cookie in Cookie Run when I heard Max voiced him as well. (I got him :D)
- I love Persona 5 and some lines I wrote for Itto were based off a few I heard Ryuuji say in Persona. That being said, I tried to not use "For real?!"
- The island isn't even a place in Genshin but it's around the area where there are islands north of Ritou/Inazuma City.
- Why are kimonos so complicated? Why are there so MANY DIFFERENT TYPES?! The amount of research I did, DIDN'T HELP—
- I'm always afraid that I'll write Itto too OOC. Constantly, I go back and I'm like "Would he say this?" "Would he do this?" "Did I say bro enough?"
