I don't believe in soulmates.
Not in the way that the word is pushed.
A soulmate isn't any one person.
I've found way to many to count.
A soulmate doesn't have to be a person, or even a romantic interest.
It can be a pet,
or a friend,
and yeah, it could be your partner too.
A soulmate is someone who matches a part of your soul,
no matter how big the pieces are.
When you meet, they take that part of your soul, have a certain hold on that little piece that no one else ever will.
And sometimes, if you find the right one, you might get a piece of theirs too.
I do not believe in soulmates the way they are pushed.
I do not believe you are only made to find one person and fall in love with them,
I do not believe that they are the only person made specifically for you.
But I do believe there are people you are destined to cross paths with.
Destined to fall in love with.
So no, I do not believe in soulmates, but I do believe in destiny.
I believe I was supposed to meet her.
I believe I was supposed to fall in love with him.
