Short, will probably be continued later.

You never imagined that it would turn out this way. You cried yourself to sleep last night, and woke up in a different place. The greenery was vivid, the sky was stunning, and the air just seemed... cleaner. You were absolutely completely and utterly terrified.

You were currently panicking, pacing back and forth, trying to get your head to settle. "What the hell is this? Where even am I?" Your cries were not answered, though. You brought your hands up to your head, pressing your palms into your temples. You let out a frustrated groan, and sat back down. The breeze gently caressed your face, and you looked around again.

This felt familiar. Everything to do with this. You were at a loss for words, completely and utterly confused. Then, you heard a voice. An almost androgynous voice, that spoke of food. You perked up, on high alert. You scanned the area, trying to decipher exactly where it was from. This was to no avail.

Thankfully, who you happened to be looking for came to you. A tall being appeared in front of you, dressed in odd garb and sporting a pastel blue shade of skin. You leapt back, your heart jumping into your throat. "Jesus christ!"

The ethereal looking deity tilted its head at you. "Hm... You appear to not be from around here. No matter. Do you know where I could perhaps find some of the native cuisine?"

You stared back for a moment, taken aback. 'Whis? That's Whis! How the hell?-' You continued to gaze curiously at him, and Whis observed your face throughly while you did so.

"Uh... I'm lost. I don't even know where the nearest town is." You admitted this, keeping your voice from portraying your nervousness. "So... I don't think I'll be of much help." You looked down at the ground, away from the intense stare trained on you now.

Whis shrugged. "Then you can help me find it." He quickly reached out hisbhand, placing two slender fingers on it. Before you could jerk away, your body was ripped from its spot and away to somewhere else.

You let out a yelp, and grabbed onto Whis' wrist. Once you were where he had decided to bring you, your heart wouldn't stop pounding. You had a rush of adrenaline, and could feel your heart beating against your ribcage. You struggled to breathe for a moment, blinking rapidly.

"Oh my." Whis said, staring down at you once more. "That's new." He waited patiently for you to calm down a little, before you cried out,

"What was that?" He rose his eyebrows at you.

"Simple transportation. Have you never done it before?" He folded his hands behind his back as he spoke, staff still in hand.

You sighed, shaking your head. It was still spinning, a bit. "No! I haven't!" You were already a bit overwhelmed, with this whole fiasco. Was it better than your current situation at home? Yeah, probably. But you were given no preparation time, and that made this more stressful than it needed to be.

Whis hummed, nodding in understanding. "That was my mistake, then. Sorry... what is your name?" He asked, realizing that he didn't know what to refer to you as at this point.

"(Y/n)." You answered, reaching one hand up to hold your head. You looked around, seeing that you two were on the outskirts of a town. "What's your name?" You already knew it, but you didn't want to be interrogated as to why.

"My name is Whis." He then proceeded to start floating forward, leaving you to follow him. "I came here in search of the best food that this town has to offer. So, I need help. You're going to be my assistant for this."

You sighed softly. You didn't know the consequences of not listening, but you assumed it had to do with Beerus losing his mind. So, you went along with it.

----

It was about two hours before you had successfully gotten a bit of food from every establishment in the little town. You got many odd looks, seeing as you had... peculiar company. You paid this no mind, though. Your head was swirling with thoughts, and theories, and generally just feelings of confusion and frustration. You couldn't even enjoy this time as you wanted to.

Whis held an elaborate wedding cake, balanced with ease on one hand. "This will do, for sure." He informed you. Looking down at your short figure, which was specifically short to him, he made a decision. "You were very helpful, (Y/n). Come, you can share some of the cake with me and Lord Beerus." He once again put two delicate fingers on your shoulder, and you jumped. You couldn't move fast enough to get out of yet another transportation.

When you were brought to his planet that he and Beerus resided on, your legs gave out on you. "Oh," Whis said, dropping his staff to catch you with one arm. "That's not good." Your head was buzzing and spinning, and you felt like throwing up. Your vision was a bit blurry now, as you tried to fix yourself. You tried to stand back up, and Whis clicked his tongue softly. He was careful in picking you up, and putting you over his shoulder, before picking up his staff and floating off to Beerus.

Had you not been so disoriented, perhaps you would've been able to fight back more. But, your head was swimming, and everything felt like it was spinning. Your body couldn't handle all that sort of travel, especially seeing as you're not even from this universe.

Beerus was ecstatic to try the cake. He began to taste it, questioning Whis about the composition and why it tasted the way it did. He had no complaints, which brought joy to the angel.

While answering Beerus, Whis was tending to you. He didn't feel absolutely guilty about this, but he didn't want to just leave you there like that. It felt wrong, to him. And that was saying something. He carefully propped you against something, kneeling by you and trying to make sense of your current condition.

"You are quite bent out of shape, (Y/n)."

You opened your eyes, your vision still blurry. His figure was foggy, but it was clear that he was in front of you. "I don't... I don't think my body is made for that, Whis..." Your voice was slightly slurred, from you trying to suppress your feeling of nausea.

Whis felt something strike his heart. His eyes widened, and he stared at you, silently. 'Say my name again.' He was stunned that he thought that.

"I wanna go home," you said, unintentionally whining. You were trying to talk normally, but your body felt absolutely wrecked and you were struggling with keeping yourself looking 'okay'. You grimaced at your whine, and at the ache in your head.

"You don't need to go home. I can take care of you, right here." Whis spoke in a soft, but matter of fact tone. Beerus watched this interaction from the sidelines. He tapped his clawed finger against his chin, humming at the two of you.

"If the little human comes with food like this, or can cook, I'd be more than happy to have it around." Beerus spoke coolly, yellow eyes half lidded.

Whis looked back at the God of Destruction, giving him a small nod. "Noted," he hummed. He returned his attention to you. Brushing his fingers over your forehead, he spoke. "I think you'd do well here. You'll stay, as I can tell that you're not even from that Earth." He smiled just slightly. You didn't really have a lot of room to pull away, but you still tried.

You mumbled out a few words of disagreement, and Whis quietly clicked his tongue. He patted your head twice, "Don't worry, (Y/n). You'll feel better soon." And with that, he teleported off, going to fetch you something. You realized... you don't have any way to leave. You're genuinely stuck here. As your head spinned, and your stomach twisted, you let out a pained noise. 'Fuck my entire life.'
