Gender Neutral, overpowered reader (I'm genuinely considering have more powerful readers, largely bc I have seen too many fics where the MC is incredibly weak or depicted as helpless-)

Note: This is short.

He was the worst. The emperor of a universe, yet he can't manage to control or detain you. Perhaps that's why he's so damn obsessed with you. You don't defy him in any physical form, you don't try to traditionally fight him. You easily slip around his tyrannical grasp, and evade his violence. That left him with a frustrated respect.

Frieza didn't know how you were able to do it. It was nothing he'd watched from others. You did things effortlessly. With sense of grace, and a sense of cold defiance to him. He found that he was practically losing sleep over this. How did one being stand up to him in such a peaceful way? And why? Were you gathering up arms against him?

He was once again pacing back and forth, questioning this. Your last encounter had been about three weeks ago. So why couldn't he get you off of his mind? It was beyond frustrating to him. He growled softly, stopping his movement to gaze out of the window. "Outrageous. Absolutely astronomically blasphemous!" His voice broke the silence as he yelled, and those in nearby hallways froze. He nearly stomped a hole straight through the ship as he continued to scream. "How dare that weasel escape me, time and time again! What is so special about something so absolutely undeserving of its powers?! How! Does! It! Escape me?! The emperor of this primitive, appalling galaxy?!" He kept throwing his rampage, and only one soldier was brave enough to peek into the room. He didn't want to. But he had to report something to him.

"Lord Frieza..." his voice was cool and soft, and Frieza whipped around to face him.

"What do you want, worm?!" He howled in response, face twisted into a deep sneer.

"We spotted them." The soldier reported softly.

Frieza stalked closer. "Who?" He demanded, his finger beginning to crackle with energy. He was going to kill the soldier, if they didn't prove to be giving important information.

"The Runner." That was the name that you had accumulated. Your speed was unmatched, even by Frieza himself. You could always escape any situation. And so, when you were spotted, it was practically a spectacle.

"Where?! Where are they?!" He urged the soldier, the ki he had began to charge dissipating immediately.

"At the nearest planet to us! They seem unguarded, my lord, and they appear to be relaxed and unaware!" The solider finally gained their confidence as they spoke.

"Good, good. You've done your job, now get out of my sight!" Frieza pointed out of the room, and the solider scrambled off. The icejin began to pace, thinking of how he could catch you this time. He was the emperor of this galaxy, he could catch you, damnit!

It wasn't long before he had tramped his way to the front of the ship. He couldn't count on these buffoons to gather such an important and powerful being, he'd have to get his own hands dirty. And to get you? He would gladly do so. He floated his way to the hatch, and out he went. He descended to the planet, in his power optimal form. As his feet touched the ground, he worked to be as quiet as possible. Perhaps, if he could catch you off guard, this would go better. He may have a chance, this time.

You were laying on your back, staring up at the clouds. The planet you chose to relax on was nice, and you decided that you wouldn't leave for a little while. Then you heard it. 'Again, with this damned egotist? What does he want with me?' You scowled a little, and remained laying down. You heard him approaching. He was no threat to you, and so, you spoke. "You again."

Frieza froze as your voice broke the silence. But, he quickly snapped out of that, and responded harshly. "How dare you speak to me that way?"

"You're a tyrant, yes? Why waste your time pursuing someone like me, then? Do you think you're going to eradicate me?" You glanced over, and he was deeply frowning at you.

"I know I'm going to," he hissed. "You do too. You've ran from me for far too long, and have given me more trouble than anyone else! Who even are you?" His hands crackled with energy, as you sat up, annoyed.

You stared blankly at Frieza. "I am (Y/n), and I could kill you right where you stand. I am an ancient being, unfathomable to such primitive minds as yours. I just want to live peacefully, and yet you've been chasing me around for many moons. You're pushing my buttons, Frieza, and no one survives doing that." Your words seemed to strike a nerve, as Frieza shot three long ki blasts from his fingers, directly at your face. You sighed, blocking it with the back of your hand. It didn't even burn your skin, and Frieza stepped back, appalled.

"What... what? How?" He hissed, and you shook your head.

"Did you hear... none of that?" You pinched the bridge of your nose. "Ridiculous. You're ridiculous. I'm already tired of this." You dashed towards him grabbing his arm. You reeled back, and threw him forward, sending him rocketing out of the atmosphere of the planet. You looked around. "I cannot believe that he keeps finding me. I need to find a better planet, next time." You shot off in the opposite direction in which you had thrown him, without looking back.

You were quite tired of this man, and his bullshit. You found his persistence to be appalling. You made your way out of the atmosphere, and into space. It was a wide, dark stretch in front of you, and you just kept flying forward.

"If he comes again... I'm going to cut off his head." Your voice seemed to ring through the vastness around you. You continued to move, finding comfort in the speed and familiar sights. But, that reminded you of the fact that you've been relentlessly chased across a galaxy you've known your entire life, by a mortal being that simply wanted you to die. You scowled. He plagued your mind more than he should've. But you were just tired of having your space and comfort compromised.

Frieza had barely gotten his bearings before he almost collided with his ship. He let out a frustrated roar of sorts. "How?! How could..." his voice became quieter, as he spotted where you had grabbed him. His skin was bruised, almost the same shade as his vibrant blood. It stung, and the fact that it hurt so bad entranced him in a way. He inspected himself, checking to see for any more pain. None. So he returned his gaze to the bruise. The mark was in the shape of your hand, and he stared at it like it would disappear if he blinked.

"An ancient being...?" His voice was just above a whisper now. Everything that occurred had clicked in his head. "I must... I must find this... (Y/n). I will find out who they are. And once I do... I will conquer them, as I have everyone else. Whether I need the Super Dragon Balls or not." He turned to his vast ship, narrowing his eyes at it. "Yes, yes," he began towards the hatch, holding his injured arm. "I will conquer (Y/n), and I will take this injury as a reminder of them." When he found you, he decided that it would be the last time you ever got away from him.
