GN! DEITY! READER
-------
Beerus' feet gently touched down onto the boat that you and your friends stood upon. You had been attending Bulma's birthday party, and now the God of Destruction himself stood upon the deck. You had only gotten there about five minutes before, so you were a little confused. What was he doing there? What did he want?
You were someone who loomed over others. You were about the same height as Whis, who also was there. You tilted your head slightly as Bulma introduced them as Vegeta's friends. That didn't settle well with you. His presence didn't sit well with you.
Beerus' yellow eyes were trained on you, the entire time he was being referred to. It wasn't something you were prepared for, seeing as you haven't been face to face with him in over a century. You then remembered, almost none of the others upon this ship knew your status in their universe. You weren't exactly regretful of it, it wasn't too bad to have hidden from them.
You were a deity of fighting. It drew you here, the power of Goku and Vegeta, plus their kids and friends. Their enemies also summoned you here, with the colossal power that emanated when they fought. You had been here for years now, and no one suspected a thing. They couldn't sense your power level, and you never tried to conceal it. But now that Beerus was here, you did. You didn't want to be asked to a fight. It wasn't in your current agenda.
You hadn't exactly become more peaceful, but you definitely didn't engage in fights like you used to. You found watching the others grow to be a nice pastime, after all. Your story was long, and your history with Beerus almost as much. The God found you to be most peculiar, noting how you were drawn to high power and fights like a moth to a flame.
He wanted you to appear to him, once he had awoken this time. He was searching for a fight to interest him, and to draw you towards him once again. He'd torn apart countless galaxies the last time he saw you, just to attempt to get you to stay. And now that he was here again, he didn't want you to leave like the previous time. But, he knew he couldn't physically force you. He just assumed if he kept you engaged enough, you'd stay with him.
You didn't think he'd hold that obsessive interest in you, like he did all those years ago. But the way his gaze pierced you, it told you that you couldn't have been more wrong. You looked around, slipping towards Piccolo. The namekian noticed your approach, and his gaze turned to you. There was a silent interaction, telepathic.
'Come here. We have to talk.' And Piccolo understood. He strode towards you briskly, and the two of you disappeared into the shadows swiftly. Beerus was properly distracted by then, thankfully. When you said almost no one, it was only one person. Alien. It was him.
"What is it, (Y/n)?" Piccolo spoke quietly, voice low. "Is this about... Them?" He knew much of your history with the two, and his concern was just faintly present. He wasn't one to normally want to show such a thing, but it slipped out.
You nodded. Glancing in the direction you left, you turned back to Piccolo. "Yes. And now that he's here, there is a huge likelihood that Earth is... royally fucked." You couldn't help but be blunt, here.
Piccolo's eyes closed, as he appeared to think. "Of course. Is there anything we can do? This is a god, after all. Are you stronger than him?"
You frowned slightly. "He couldn't defeat me if he wanted to, only because fighting makes me stronger. But if we were to even exchange one hit, your planet and likely the nearest 10 solar systems, would all be destroyed. So, fighting isn't the best option, here." You weren't feeling too good about this situation, you could still hear Beerus' voice.
It took about five minutes for you and Piccolo to decide what to do, for the safety of others. You'd avoid Beerus, and Piccolo would keep the most idiotic of the bunch as far away from Beerus as possible. That meant a lot of the people on the ship. And of course, that couldn't last, now could it?
