I woke up and my breathing was on high rate. I don't know why but I was not feeling good. I was feeling that something bad is going to happen. I was all covered in sweat and I wanted to have shower. I sat up in my bed and studied my foot for a moment. The pain was little now and I can manage to walk. I dropped the idea of going to college with my injured head and foot and typed a quick message to Mia.

I got off my bed and went towards my bathroom. I brushed my teeth and took a quick shower. I dried my hair and ran a brush through them. I came out and got dressed.

After having plain toasts I settled on my bed with my phone and opened to check my Facebook profile. As I opened my account lots of images, comments and messages popped up about me and Robert. I hadn't open my account for few days that's why there were lots of notifications too. I wasn't feeling good so I kept my mobile aside and lay down on my bed.

I thought of reading a book when suddenly someone knocked at my door. I opened the door and and a spark went through my body at the sight of him. What was he doing here. I sorted out all the things with him and also crated a good reputation at college (*sarcasm*). Now what does he want !!!. I stood there for a moment staring in his eyes and he also continued to stare at me. Several minutes passed which felt like hours and he finally broke the silence.

"How are you feeling ?"

"Good" was all I managed to say at that time.

"I just wanted to check that are your injuries OK."

I wanted to ask him why? In rude manner. But I ignored that feeling. It just doesn't make sense that he wanted to check on me. I looked in his eyes but he was hesitating in making eye contact. Like something was bugging him. I didn't know him much but in couple of days I have seen that he always makes strong eye contact while talking with everyone.

"Yes, they are fine. I feel less pain today." I got aside and welcomed him in my small and old apartment.

It doesn't happen often with me to see celebrities and meet them personally so this all was very new to me. I hate being given special attention but in couple of days I have earned lots of attentions and I still needed to explain this all stuff to Mia.

"I am sorry this is not my thing to ask but it seems that something is worrying you."

He stood near my gate and cocked his head to the side. Then after watching me for some seconds he opened his mouth to say something but bad luck! My phone started ringing.

I wanted to listen to him but I also couldn't ignore my phone so I picked up my phone from the bedside table. It was my brother's phone 'JAKE'.

I took the phone while he was looking at me. It was weird to talk in front of him while he watched me with his intense gaze so I made my way towards the kitchen.

"Hey ! Jake. What's up ?"

"Kate!" As he spoke my name the fear began to come over me. It was not his usual tone. He was worried. His voice was like he was frightened. My heart started beating fast. Gone was my carefree voice and panic began to rise in me.

"What happened ?" I asked as my voice got loud.

"Its mom !" He said with a hushed voice. At the mere mentioning of my mom my heart beat got more fast. It felt like my chest was going to burst.

"What happened to mom?"

Please let everything be okay.
I repeated the same mantra over and over and he finally spoke.
