I woke up with a heavy headache. My head was paining very badly like it was going to burst any moment. I hate this feeling.

I groaned and opened my eyes to the familiar but not so pleasing surrounding. I was still tied and my hands hurt. I got bruises on my wrists. I was alone in that room. I don't know for how long I passed out. It felt like I have been here for ages.

Suddenly I heard the doorknob click open and Jake walked in. He was tired and the bags were visible under his eyes. I looked at him with disgust. I feel shame for being his sister. No one deserves a brother like him. He is a disgrace.

He looked at me with annoyance and then sighed.

" you ! What should I do with you now?" He asked as he walked towards me.

"You are a pathetic human being. You are the worst person I have ever seen. Just open this damn rope or else you don't know what will happen to you." I snapped and spat on his face.

He closed his eyes for a moment then opened it. Anger was visible in his eyes and he was really frustrated. He leaned down and grabbed me by my hair. I yelped in pain as my head hurt badly.

"You bitch. Don't tell me what kind of person I am. You are the one who is the most pathetic human. You are the one who made my life hell." He shouted angrily then punched me on my face.

Blood started oozing out from my lower lip and I cried in pain. I wanted to die. I was feeling miserable and helpless. But there was something in me that kept me alive. Maybe a small hope that he would come and save me from this mess. I know I ran away from him but now I needed him the most.

He pulled out a gun and a knife from his pocket then smirked at me. My face turned pale. Now was my last time on earth. He was going to kill me. I don't know why he hated me so much when all these years we were so close to each other.

"Now, my beautiful sister it's the time for you to meet that best friend of yours and mom. Tell me what do you prefer. Should I kill you with this knife or this gun ? Ah ! You know knife hurts a lot. Maybe we should go for bullet." He said as he threw the knife in the corner.

He stepped back then loaded the gun. I closed my eyes with fear. I prayed in the last moment. I remembered my mother and all my friends and happy memories. I remembered meeting him and the day we shared. That kiss.

Suddenly the door burst open and before I could comprehend anything he pulled the trigger. I felt the bullet hitting my abdomen and I cried aloud in pain.

"Kate !!!" A familiar voice shouted. Maybe I was just hearing his voice it was just my brain playing with me.

My eyes started closing and the last thing I remember was someone pulling me to them and shouting my name.

# Robert's POV #

"Alright. Yeah OK. You sure ? Ok."
I looked towards Daniel as he cut the call with whoever he was talking. We were in his car driving and searching for Kate and I was getting impatient with every second passing.

After he ended the call he looked towards me and showed me his phone with a smirk. I took the phone and someone's message popped up and some address was there.

"what the hell is this ?" I asked as calm as possible.

"We got the address dude where she is right now. Cops are also now heading there. We found her now just relax that ass of yours."

I looked at him with shock and then asked. "What ?! You serious ! But how did you get this address?" I asked as a sudden ray of happiness built up inside me.

"Connections bro. Now calm down and let me drive." He accelerated the car and we sped off.

"thanks man ! "  I said as relief came over me.

"No problem. I know this sounds creep but I also want a favour from you."  He said with a nervous tone.

"Yeah ! What is it ?"

"Uhm.. I will tell you later. First we should bring back Kate." 

I nodded my head.

I was somewhat relieved that now we know that where she was. I want to see her so badly. I don't know what she was doing there and if she was fine or not. Oh she would be fine of course. I don't know why she ran away from me but I am coming Kate.

Just wait and I will be there and then I will never let you go. I will clear the things between us. Just wait and watch !
