Chapter-26 (Where are you?)

# Kate's POV #

I wiped my tears and stood up. Its not the time to cry now. He used me. At one side he is kissing Ashley and at another he made love to me. This is not fair Mr. Johnson ! I don't know what to do now but I surely don't want to live here anymore. Seeing him again will only bring lots of pain. I don't want to feel that pain and heartbreak again. It would be better for me to leave him. I will find my brother on my own.

I got up and reached for my bag. I started packing all my things. I want to leave this place as soon as possible. I don't want to live here anymore. I thought of waking up Amanda but I denied that thought instantly. She will surely inform Robert and I don't want that to happen.
Now only hope for me is my one and only friend Mia. She is the only one right now who can help me.

I took my phone and dialed her number.

"Kate ! Is everything okay ? Why are you calling so late?"

"No mia ! Everything is not okay. Something terrible happened to me and I need your help."

"What ? Did that bastard hurt you ?"

"Yes ! I will explain everything but first listen to me. I am escaping from this house. I don't want to live here anymore. I want you to help me. Please come near his mansion so that after escaping we can go together."

"Babe ? Its late ! And you want to escape right now?"

"Please Mia ! Please"

"Okay babe don't cry I am coming their okay. Just be careful."
She said and ended the call.

I only took important stuff with me in my bag and left all the clothes. It would be difficult to take them. I also switched off my phone and left it there only so that he can't stalk me.

Very carefully with small steps I descended the stairs and headed towards the entrance. I opened the main door and got out. At the outer gate there were security guards. Oh no ! Now what to do. I thought and thought and came up with the lamest idea ever but I can't do anything.

I rushed towards them and they looked at me surprised.

"Mam ! What are you doing here?"

"Help me ! Their is a burglar in my room. I don't know how he came but I ran away. Please go and catch him."

They looked alarmed and ran inside. By seeing the opportunity I ran out of the gate. I didn't know that security guards were that stupid.

"Mam wait ! Where are you going ?"

I looked back and one guard was chasing me. I ran faster and faster.

After some distance I spotted Mia on her scooty.
I ran and sat at the back. She started the engine and accelerated.

Yes ! I freaking escaped and now I am free. I don't need to face him anymore. And now I will live my life on my own. With that thought in mind I smiled. I will miss him a lot.

# Robert's POV #

I woke up by hearing loud noises from outside. I got out of my bed and opened the door and found Bryan, the head guard there. With a frown on my face I asked that what happened but instead he stood there with worried expressions.

"Bryan ?! What the hell happened ?" I growled at him, getting worried by his expressions.

"Sir... Uhmm... Its... "

"What?" I shouted so loud this time. He looked horrified.

"Sir... Its... Ma'am... She just uhmm." Suddenly fear began to take over me. Kate ! What happened to her. Without waiting for his answer I ran towards her room. Instead of her, I found other guards there.

I ran towards Bryan again and held him by his collar angrily.

"Where is she ?" I asked frantically.

His reply was unexpected. It was like someone hit me hard. I wanted to kill everyone at that moment.

"Sir .... She ran away."

Where are you Kate ? Where are you ! I asked myself before closing my eyes with so much pain and sighed deeply.
