My head was still throbbing but I managed to open my eyes. It took me a moment to regain my vision. The surrounding was familiar. I was still in his mansion. I looked around and spotted Amy and Mia standing there.

"Mia !!! Look ! She is awake."

They both looked at me and Amy jumped to give me a tight hug.

"Wait Amanda ! She is not fully recovered ! Don't break her bones." And Amy backed off.

"What's happening?" I murmured.

Amy was about to say something when Mia spoke.

"Its been 2 years Kate."

"What ? 2 years for what ?!" I whispered.

"You are in coma since 2 years." Mia spoke very low.

My face started to pale and fear started rising in my stomach. I just can't believe it ! It's impossible !

I was about to burst when both of them looked at each other and started laughing.

"Oh ! My katy Kate I was just kidding." Amy smiled and gave me a tight hug.

"Oh silly ! I was so afraid." Mia said and kissed me on my forehead and hugged me.

It was so overwhelming to see my best friends in this situation. They really cared about me and loved me. We all hugged together and I smiled savouring and enjoying that moment emotionally.

"Heya ladies, if I am not interrupting ! I need to check on my patient."

I looked and a handsome man in his early 30's I guess walked in and behind him was none other than Robert.

"Sure doc !" Mia said giving her flirtatious smile.
They both walked out of the room and he sat beside my bed on a chair.

He looked more handsome from near. He was having a perfect jaw line with an awesome smile. He was also having hazel green eyes and sexy personality. If I was not in this situation then I could have surely thought of asking him out! Maybe not, because... Never mind.

"Mr. Johnson ! Can I talk in private with my patient ?"

He looked at me with concern and walked out of the room closing it behind him.

"Hey beautiful ! I am your doctor James Frederick. How are you feeling now ?"
