Chapter-20 (Terrible Mistake)

Its dark. Its completely dark here and I don't know where I am going. I started running as I was feeling some negative vibes around me. I was feeling very bad and my heart was beating loud. Suddenly some voice stopped me.

'Honey' its my mom's voice. Sweet and gentle as ever.

'Mom' I screamed very loudly as there was complete darkness. I again started running towards the voice.

'Honey ! I am here.' She spoke softly.

Suddenly I spotted a tunnel of light and there she was standing peacefully and smiling at me. She was looking beautiful as ever in her favourite sundress. Her beautiful and now old face was smiling so brightly.
I ran towards her and hugged her tightly and started crying.

'Mom ! I missed you so much.' I cried peacefully on her shoulder.

'Honey ! Don't cry. You are my little brave girl and you are very strong. I am always there with you and Watching you.'

'Mom ! Why you left me. There is so much problem out there. You left me when I needed you the most and you know Jack is also gone I don't know where.' I stated as i was still crying.

Suddenly a frown appeared on her gentle face.

'Mom ! What's wrong ?' I asked horrified.

Then she looked at me and smiled again. 'Sweety ! Just remember that I am always with you. No matter what happens I will always be with you.'

I smiled and hugged her tightly once again but before I could hug her she suddenly vanished. I searched for her here and there but couldn't find her.

"Mom !!!!" I screamed on top of my lungs. I got up and noticed my surroundings. I was still on my bed sweating profoundly from the dream which I had. I was breathing hard and I felt like my lungs would burst any moment.

"Kate .... " suddenly the door burst open and Robert was standing with a horrified expression on his face. Amanda was behind him and was looking pale.

They both walked in and looked at me. "Oh ! Kate are you okay ?! What happened ?" Asked amy and hugged me tightly.

"Nothing amy. I just had a dream. I am sorry for disturbing you guys."

Amy nodded and rushed out to fetch some water for me. Robert sat on the bed by my side and looked at me. I looked at him and found mixed emotions in his eyes. There was fear, care, and love but i was afraid that was it for me or was I mistaken.

Suddenly he reached for my hair and stroked it slowly.

"Are you okay ?" He asked in a low whisper which as usual took my breath away. I didn't reply instead I stared at him with wide eyes. I wanted to nod and tell him that I was alright but the words were not ready to escape from my mouth.

He stared at me for some time then looked at my lips. Suddenly I felt the butterflies in my stomach multiplied and i was feeling really weird. It was as if he was asking for my permission. I said nothing and stared in his eyes.

Suddenly he dipped his head and crashed his lips on mine. His lips were so soft and tender against mine. His lips moved slowly and softly and it felt amazing. I responded back and kissed him. There was so much longing and love in his kiss. My hands reached for his neck as his hands were stroking my hairs softly. He deepened the kiss and i followed him, savouring every moment.

Suddenly I heard breaking of glass and pushed Robert. I looked at the door and there was amy. A glass was lying on the floor which was now in pieces.

"Oh ! I am... I am so sorry. I didn't mean to disturb you." She said and left hurriedly. I was breathing hard from the kiss and when my breathing became normal then I realised what has happened.

I looked at Robert with horrified expressions but he wasn't showing any regretful emotions. It was then i realised that what mistake I had done. Suddenly the tears started to pool in my eyes and before i could stop them I started crying in front of him. I FUCKING KISSED HIM !!!!

A/N:- heya fellas ! Another chapter here. I don't know how many of you are reading my book but thank you soo much for giving me hope and encouragement. I am able to write this story only because of you guys ! Thanks a lot ...... :D
