Matt POV

I sneak small glances at Gus on our way to school. Every so often I'd listen to him babble about something, and I loved it. What felt even stranger, was the fact that our fingers were entwined, and me hugging him from behind as we fly on his staff. "Having a good time back there, Matty?" I smile. "It's hard not to when you're riding on your boyfriend's staff. Plus your babbling about your interests is very adorable." "Well, we're here." We get off his staff. He kisses me. "Love you, dude. Have a nice day." "I love you as well, and if anyone picks on you or your friends, I'll handle it." "Of course you will." He says, squeezing my hand. I squeeze back. The bell screams. "Shall I escort you to class, my prince?" "If you must, my jester." I kiss him on the cheek. "After school, my place?" "Wouldn't miss it for the world."

After school:

"Bye guys! Take care, and Amity, don't beat up Hunter." Gus says waving to our friends. "After you." I say as he hops on his staff. He pulls me on and I wrap my arms and legs around him. "You're cute." He says. "Mmhm." I say lightly kissing his neck. "Dude, that tickles." He says laughing. "But you like it." "I do, but we're flying so I can't kiss you back." "Well, let's hurry, then." I hop onto his lap as we pick up speed. "Watch out for that tree!" And we crash. We land on top of each other.  "Are you okay, Matty?" He asks. I wrap him in a hug in response. "Couldn't be better." I giggle. We get up. "Luckily we crashed pretty close to my house." "Phew." We end up walking the rest of the way, hand in hand. "Hello, Gus. Nice to see you, too Matt." "Likewise, mr. Porter." We head upstairs to Gus' room and we change out of our uniforms and into comfortable clothes. I steal one of his hoodies and walk over to him. "So that's where my hoodies have been going." He giggles. "Get used to it, I'm your boyfriend." I smirk. "That, you are." He spreads his arms and legs for me to come cuddle. "You're cute." I say as I sit facing him as we touch noses. He kisses my forehead and I giggle like a child. "You are adorable." He says smiling. I gently put a hand on his cheek and connect our lips. "You were eating chocolate weren't you?" "It's a human thing called lip balm, actually. It moisturizes your lips." "Hm. If I kiss you will I get some of the moisture?" "You can try." He says smiling into another kiss. "Hm, it's not working, guess I should kiss you until it does." He tucks some of my hair behind my ear. "Your hair's pretty long now..." "Should I cut it?" I raise an eyebrow. "N-no I actually think it's- it's really cute." I feel my face soften. "You're the cute one, I'm the cool, mysterious one." "Bahaha, you wish." He laughs. I mock offense. "How could you say I'm not cool." "I never said that, doofus." "You're the doofus!" We laugh and collapse beside one another. I grab his hand and enlace our fingers. "I have the best boyfriend in the world." "You have other boyfriends?" "Silly, Matty, you're my only boyfriend." He kisses me, our hands still tight like they were knotted. When I pulled away, he places his gentle smiling lips on my forehead. I roll over onto him as we snuggle together, the warmth of his skin and the coolness of mine melting together.
