Gus and his friends decided it'd be a good idea to go to the human realm to try milkshakes, which Luz, the human was excited to share with us. "Remember the ground rules, Matt." Steve reminds me. "YeS, mOm." I say sarcastically. "Gus, keep an eye on him, I trust you." "Hey! Stop embarrassing me!" My face goes red and my ears twitch. "Aye aye, Steve! Don't worry I won't let anything happen to Matty." I drag my boyfriend by the hand towards the door. "Alright, leaving now, bye parental figure." "So, first human realm date, right Matty?" I blush and clear my throat, I've gotta act cool for my boo. "Yep, and we're having shaken milk?" "They're called milkshakes and they're ice cream mixed with milk." Luz appears out of nowhere, startling me into Gus' arms. "Oops, sorry for sneaking up on ya." I clear my throat again. "I wasn't scared, just decided I- uhm uh needed, to.... get Gus to carry me! Yeah that's what I was doing." I say, hiding my gayness. "Awe, look Willow, Gus is carrying Matt!" Skara exclaims. "Awe, who scared Mattholomule?" "That would be Luz." Gus says pointing at Luz who was holding hands with Amity. "When did you get here?" I ask Amity as Gus sets me down. "When Willow and Skara got here." She says, giving me a look. "Anywho- Who's up for milkshakes?" "Aren't we forgetting Hunter?" Gus asks, raising an eyebrow. "He said he didn't want to come because he's a loser." Amity says as Luz gives her a smirk. "Wow I'm like totally telling him you said that." Gus says, pulling out his scroll. "You wouldn't." "Try me, witch." Luz and Gus have a staring contest for a solid 5 minutes before Gus calls Hunter. "What is it now? Did Luz do something stupid again?" "Hey! I wouldn't do anything stupid, ever! You take that back!" "Uh. No." "Jerk!" "No you." "This will go on forever, won't it?" Skara said, fidgeting with her hair. "Prolly." I say, looking at Gus as he giggles. I smile at him. "Saw that." Willow says giggling. "A-anywho," My voice cracks. Gus looks at me after hanging up on Hunter. I forget what I was about to say, his indigo eyes were so sparkly. "Ummm, I forgot. Let's go get the shaken milk?" Gus offers his hand and I take it in mine, despite his height, he has dainty illusionist hands and I have tough constructionist hands, so our hands were perfectly sized for hand holding. "Gay gay homosexual gay." Luz says. "Says you." Gus points at her and Amity. "Touché." "He's not touching you though?" I said confused. "I don't mean the French word, I meant the expression." "I know that! We learned it in the bard track!" "Yessssss." Amity turns to Willow. "Bisexual bards." Willow nods. "That's our girlfriends." "Yup." They sigh. "Hi, bisexual boyfriend." I say looking up at Gus. "Hi." He squeezes my hand. I squeeze back. When we get to the milkshake place, Gus looks excitedly at the menu. "So many options! Ooh what's peanut butter? Woah, waffle cones? What are those. Oh my Titan, Matty look! They named a topping after cats!" "Kitkat is a type of chocolate bar, waffle cones are superior to normal ones. And peanut butter is great!" We got our milkshakes, Luz got a lactose free one with a lot of toppings, Amity got coffee and chocolate, Willow got chocolate, Skara got strawberry, Gus got peanut butter and chocolate, and I got plain coffee. "Matty! It's so good! A human delicacy! Try it!" I take a sip of the drink. "Dang, it is good." "Luz wasn't wrong when she said that peanut butter and chocolate are a good combination." "She is the true expert." I sip my coffee milkshake and it tastes great, not as great as Gus' but it's definitely good. I offer him a sip and smile when he beams at me. "I love milkshakes!" "And I love you." I kiss him on the cheek, having to stand on the tips of my toes. I watch the blood rush to his cheeks. "Hey! Give me time to kiss back, jerk!" "No." "You suck." "I love you too, babe." Luz inserts herself. "And you guys say Amity and I are PDA." "Because you are." I respond to her. "You're one to talk." "I know I am."
