"Wake up Marinette, you're gonna be late for school!" Tikki said as Marinette covered her face with her blanket. "5 more minutes..." Marinette said still half asleep. "It's 07:00 am, wake up Marinette!" Tikki said nearly piercing a hole in her ear drum. "WHAT! Oh no, class is in half an hour, why didn't you wake me up earlier Tikki!" she said as she ran to the bathroom. Tikki rolled her eyes as she put away all 7 alarms Marinette had set the night before.
When Marinette came out of the bathroom, she put her clothes on and rushed down her bedroom staircase, grabbed a croissant and ran out the bakery. "I don't understand how you always end up late for school when you live the closest to it." Tikki said as Mari frantically ran down the sidewalk, "I don't know either but what's important is that that doesn't happen today, now hide Tikki!" Marinette instructed Tikki before entering the school.
Luckily for Marinette, the students were still heading to their classes when she arrived so she was able to get to Alya and get to class in time.
"Wow girl, I thought I was gonna have to fake another story for you today but I guess you managed to make it here on time." Alya said jokingly as the 2 entered the classroom. As soon as everyone was seated, Ms. Bustier walked in to begin the class. "Okay class, before I start, I'd like to congratulate everyone on coming early as I instructed you all yesterday, especially you Marinette, you've really out done yourself." she said before carrying on, "I'm sure you all are wondering why I asked you to come early today and well..." Ms Bustier said as the class waited ominously for her to complete her sentence.
"YOU ALL PASSED THIS SEMESTER!"
The whole class celebrated before Chloe inturpted their cheers "Oh my word, seriously?, so that's the reason I had to skip my salon session with Kelly, just so I could hear that I passed!, RIDICULOUS, UTTERLY RIDICULOUS!"
"Well Chloe, that's actually not the whole reason I asked you all to come early, class, since all of you passed this semester and behaved well in my classes, I decided with Mr. Damocles that you all deserve a reward, can anyone guess what that reward is?". The class fell silent as nobody knew what the reward was."Nobody?, okay, well we are going to the Plage de la vie [Beach of Life] resort for the summer!" The class had now erupted in even louder cheers "Oh well in that case, I guess no salon session was worth it" Chloe said before going back to scrolling on her phone. Chloe had been there many times before but refused to show the fact that she was excited about going there with everyone.
"I'm glad that you all are just as excited about this as I am and since we are leaving tomorrow, I am sending you all home for the day to pack, make sure you take a packing list from my desk before you leave so you know what to take with you, I'll see you tomorrow class and don't be late!" Ms Bustier said as she dismissed the class.
"Oh my gosh Alya, I'm so excited, we're basically gonna be living with Adrien for the summer!" Marinette said as she clapped her hands. "Girl, this obsession is gonna drive both me and you crazy, we're not going there to see Adrien, we'll be there to have fun, as a class." Alya said giggling. "Say what you want but this is.." Marinette said before she focused on Adrien. "Bye girls, see you tomorrow!" Adrien waved as he walked out the school with Nino.
"Byeee..." Marinette said losing focus on what she was saying still waving at a already long gone Adrien. "You're a lost cause." Alya said as she grabbed Marinette's wrist and walked her out the school.
