The moons shown brightly, as if they too had heard the prophecy. Stormchaser and Shadowhunter gave each other a wide eyed glance. Stormchaser's eyes locked on to Rainstar.

Rainstar struggled to her feet, Stormchaser wanted to help her, but it was like her talons were glued to the hard ground. How often does that happen? She wondered

"D-does that happen often?"

"For all the years that I have known her, only once. That was a few years back, when the NightWings left the rainforest after their queen, Dreamseer, saw a perfect coastline where they could have their own kingdom. Rainstar's father left with them." Shadowhunter answered, gazing sorrowfully at the princess as she stood up.

"That was when we found out I was a seer." Rainstar informed. "It only came with a few hundred migraines here and there."

"Um, so, are they- are they usually that vague?" Stormchaser asked. "Actually, it doesn't matter, we just need to figure out what it m-"

"THREE MOONS, EREBUS! YOU HAD ONE JOB AND YOU LOST HER!" A loud roar echoed through the forest.

"O-oh," Shadowhunter joked. "Some one's in a little bit of trouble!"

"Shadowhunter!" Rainstar scolded, glaring at her.

"Shhh," Stormchaser hissed. "I want to hear what they're saying!"

"Quickthought, Quickthought, don't worry," Erebus soothed slyly, his voice sounded smooth, like a knife sliding along a polished stone. "Once our plan is completed, we'll have control of the SeaWings and we'll find her in a wingbeat."

Find me? DO THEY MEAN ME!

"Right, sooo, that's our queue to leave!" Shadowhunter whispered hurriedly.

"But- we need to find out-"

"Stormchaser, no, if we stay any longer,  they'll probably find us," Rainstar interrupted, then a smile filled her face. "And as good as this hiding place is, I'd rather not get captured this early on!"

"What about not getting captured at all? That sounds like a pretty decent plan to me!" Shadowhunter argued teasingly. "Besides, y'all look tired."

Shadowhunter was right. Stormchaser's eyes were almost closing, Rainstar seemed to be drifting off and waking up every now and then and Shadowhunter, well Shadowhunter just looked like she always does, half asleep, half not.

Stormchaser didn't say anything, instead, she gently nodded her head in agreement. They carefully spread their wings, cautious of the over hanging branches, and leaped into the sky.

The flight back seemed to take forever. Shadowhunter was non stop talking all the way back. Mostly to herself. She asked Stormchaser a question once, and then kept mumbling to herself.

"So, when you put out that torch, you used frost breath, but you used fire to light it," She asked. "What was that about?"

That's what she's thinking about now, really? Stormchaser had always had the ability to choose between using flames and frostbreath. She only new about the frostbreath because of when she accidently breathed some on Lightning when they were playing. According to Lightning, Stormchaser's frostbreath felt more like a burn from fire than a burn from ice.

"Um, it's just a skill I've possessed since I hatched. Because I'm an IceWing-NightWing hybrid, although, apparently the frostbreath feels like a heat burn."

"That's Awesome!" Shadowhunter laughed, "Imagine shooting a healthy dose of flaming frostbreath in Quickthought's smug face!"

"Wouldn't that be an unhealthy dose?" Rainstar mocked.

"I- no- I- Shut up Rainstar."

Stormchaser giggled and they continued flying back to the Rainforest village.

The dragonets got back well after midnight. Honeysuckle and Squirrel were snoring away softly in their hammocks on the far side of the large platform. It wasn't long before Stormchaser, Shadowhunter and Rainstar were all passed out as well.

The tropical birds' song woke Stormchaser from a sleep full of nightmares of Quickthought catching her or her friends.

Well- that was a pleasant night, wasn't it?

She swung her gaze around to Rainstar quietly writing in one of her scrolls, with Shadowhunter still asleep and snoring.

"Where's Honeysuckle and Squirrel?" Stormchaser asked quietly, careful not to wake up Shadowhunter.

"Dew came to take them out fruit gathering, they'll probably be gone the whole day," Rainstar responded. "I've been thinking about the prophecy and waiting for you to wake up so I could tell you what I found out!"

Stormchaser thought for a moment. "Wait- shouldn't we wait for Shadowhunter to wake up first"

"I suppose so," Rainstar agreed. "Oi, Shadowhunter! Wake up you lazy sloth-head!"

"Wait- That's no what I meant!"

Shadowhunter looked up from her hammock and fell back asleep, mumbling.

"Sloths sleep for 18hrs..."

"Shadowhunter! hurry up and wake up! I wanna tell you about what I figured out about the prophecy!"

"Fiiiiiiine!" Shadowhunter snapped and crawled over to Rainstar and Stormchaser. "So, What have you figured out, O great one!"

"Ok," Rainstar started. "I think the one we have to fear is Quickthought."

"No kidding." Shadowhunter rolled her eyes, Stormchaser nudged her gently with her elbow.

"Aaaaaaand," She continued, ignoring Shadowhunter's smart remark. "That we need to find two more dragons."

"Wait, Rainstar, I'm lost, please explain, " Shadowhunter requested. "How exactly did you get that?"

"Well- it says:

Only one, hatched of dark and Hatched of light,

Will save all from an eternal night.

And then:

Find the hunter of shadows, and the shining star in the Rain,

Find the sea of greatest depths and the victory in chains."

"The one hatched from dark and light, is Stormchaser because she's a Night-Ice hybrid, you, Shadowhunter, are the hunter of shadows, and I'm probably the star in the rain, which means-"

"Which means we just need to find the sea of greatest depths and the victory in chains." Stormchaser finished for her. "Then we have to hurry! Quickthought is up to something! She needs to be stopped!"

"By the moons, Stormchaser," Shadowhunter looked startled in a humourous way "what happened to the shy, timid dragonet that came into the village yesterday?"

"She's still here," Stormchaser answered meeting her friends' gaze. "She just knows that she's safe and loved with her dearest friends."

A/N: Sorry this chapter took so long, guys. I have been so busy with school and homework and doing stuff for people that I really haven't had time.

I'll try to be more consistent with my chapter posting in the future.^^
