Adrian looked at her sitting next to his mother and aunt. They were talking to her freely. It had been a day since he is here and so far, the only time, he had been close to her is when they slept together in the same bed. Now a day had passed and he wanted to make her feel like the queen of the world. But being his wife truly means he has to share her with a few more people, like his mother, aunt, father, and sadly his brother.
"Like this dear, it preserves the texture of the cheese." The work she had been taught by his aunt. And she was learning very well. Only that he wasn't getting what he deserved, that was her time. "Mom, can I take her out now? I promised her that I will show her the sights around. And where is dad anyway? I haven't seen him since I come here" Adrian asked and his mother laughed.
"We will not steal your wife from you, son. I am teaching her the trade secrets and your father is readying the boat for both of you to take. After all, she is the daughter of the Knight family. She deserves no less than the best around here. I am prepping her for the next phase in life, being a mother and giving me some grandkids to spoil." Mira halted, looking at Adrian with a horror-stricken face.
Adrian's heated gaze met hers and she looked away feeling a blush creeping over her face. "Look she is turning red." His mother commented and she turned redder with embarrassment. "Ma, stop making her embarrassed," Adrian told them. Adrian pulled her up and she was pressed against his body. "Come with me please, I haven't even properly shown my house to you." There was an urgency in his voice. She didn't argue and walked away with him.
She heard his mother saying the words sooner than we expect. But she didn't understand what she was talking about. Adrian led her inside the house and towards a silent part of the house. It was like a separate corner with a view of the ocean. He made her sit down on the swing. "And here I thought I would have you all for myself, honey. But you are a charmer and you are never ever going to be left alone." He played with her hair rolling them gently over his finger.
"Is that a bad thing?" She asked. "Yes, when I have limited time with you to be with you as your husband, show you things I can do for you, that makes a difference of opinion in your heart." She looked at him with concern. "Why? Does it matter what I think? I am a random stranger, working for you, I will leave eventually and you will forget I existed..." he put his hand on her back pulling her into him and placing his lips on her.
All that hesitation he had felt once disappeared with that one statement of hers. She is not someone he is ever going to forget. Because girls like her come ones in life. He pulled her closer not breaking the kiss. He pressed her against the wall kissing her neck and exposing her more to him. "Adrian" She moaned as he held her hands above her head making it impossible for her to move.
He pulled back letting her go. "Not like this, I want to know, do you want me as much as I want you, honey? You need to say those words." He was panting. Now he couldn't control his desires for her any longer. "Say those words, honey, say it please." "Adrian I..." his phone rang and he cursed loudly. "Fuck it, just when I thought I can have you for myself." She straightened herself quickly.
He picked up the call when it rang again. "Knight" He sounded angry. "You sound so angry Mr. Adrian Alexander Knight. Is your recruit not giving you the satisfaction you wanted? Hard to take her to your bed when she is this hard-headed and hard to control, isn't it?" He looked at the phone it was a private number.
"Who is this, and why you are so concerned with my personal life?" He asked. "Wrong question Knight, I am not concerned with just your personal life. Tell me why you are so hesitant about running a background check on her? Are you afraid of finding out what she is hiding?" "I am not..." he was cut off by a burst of laughter. "You shutter when you lie. A habit as old as you are, but why haven't you checked her credentials?" the woman on the other line asked. He looked around to see Mira was nowhere around him.
