Meanwhile...

With weapon in rim, Demetria made her way downramp to survey what was going on, patrolling the ground floor of the Wheel Well in her heightened state. Only a select amount of moments saw her this in tune with her inner animal, Miami coming to mind primarily. She and her husband had poured their souls out to each other barely a minute or so ago, so she wasn't going to let anything hurt him. Anything.

She quickly came across the shattered plate broken not a moment or two earlier. She and Dash weren't alone considering the tire marks over the broken plate. She quietly rolled around the pieces of it, peeking around the corner shyly. Besides the looming threat of an intruder, there was still something lingering around that made her feel uneasy.

Why did Cal call her in such a rush before? Why did he hang up so abruptly? She felt like she had to put it into question as she continued her patrolling. She wondered if Cal and company might be in trouble hunting Nettes down. She even went as far as to consider if it had anything to do with the intruder.

Such would be answered by what could only be described as magic. She heard the overhood radio turn on automatically at the entrance outside.

"Principal turned principally criminal?" the radio said.

Her world stopped in its spot in an instant. She listened in

"What the-" she wondered.

"Breaking international news today from Japan as an American tourist was horrifically executed in the public square near Sensoji Temple. Witnesses describe the situation as 'a scene from hell'. Numerous claims detail that somehow, notorious Principal-gone-haywire Helmut Nettes had been sighted in the area at the time, but official footage, flight, and visa records seem to indicate that he wasn't even in the country at the time-"

BOMP!

She quickly spun around to see a tire, presumably leaning against the wall, fall to the ground. She slowly made her way over to it, staring at it perplexed.

"The local authorities have indeed identified who the victim of these horrific events was. An orange hatch by the name of-"

CRASH!

As she rounded a corner, she caught a glimpse of a tire barely skimming a vase, causing it to fall and break.

"What the-" she repeated.

Suddenly, a car jumped out from behind her and shoved her into the wall, causing her to grimace.

"Ohh... so you're the one disturbing the peace?" she quipped.

She took a good look at what could be described as an army veteran. Once again, the vet went in for a hit. Demetria quickly reacted and jumped out of the way, causing the vet to hurtle into the wall. She took a quick breath and hauled the vet into the wall again. He spat out oil, smirking back at her in admiration as she stared at him viciously.

"So you're the Boltarius they told me to worry about?" he asked rhetorically.

She quickly went in for an oversteering hit with her rear end. The vet saw it a mile off and jumped out of the way, sending her into the wall. He jumped at the opportunity and held her there.

"Agh... let go, you stinky truck," she remarked uncomfortably.

"They had stories about you." the vet said.

The two quickly sparred again, creating a dent in the wall on the other side of the room.

"Stories? Who sent you?" she barked.
