Present day, somewhere in Europe...

It was still and quiet where Nettes found himself at that moment. Clearly, this was a far cry from the rowdy, raucous atmosphere back at the LA Penitentiary. Rock bottom felt like a distant memory given what he was planning.

He had the luxury to slowly open his eyes and awaken from his nap, located in his brand-new headquarters; a dingy warehouse tucked away deep in Europe. It was all he could find at that moment of near-homelessness.

"One more day..." Nettes mumbled, half asleep.

"Did you sleep well, sir?" a voice asked softly, seemingly from up-close.

"Gah!!" Nettes yelped, stumbling backward.

"Oh, my apologies, were you still sleeping? I didn't mean to startle you." the voice apologized.

"I'm fine. You henchmen just need to learn some manners." Nettes affirmed, dusting himself off.

"Sorry sir, but you did request to have someone accompany you while you slept." the henchman reminded.

"Did I now? Must've been sleep deprived." Nettes chuckled.

"P-perhaps, sir." the henchman chuckled nervously in compliance.

"Tell me, what was your name? You're obviously important if I placed you in charge of helicoptering me." Nettes quipped.

"D-Desmond, sir." Desmond answered.

"Ah, Desmond. Show me around. What did we get ourselves into?" Nettes asked.

"Umm, sir... you bought the place-" Desmond reminded.

"Nonsense! Show me around. Make use of your limited time on this earth." Nettes reaffirmed.

"...uhh... alright. Right this way, sir." Desmond said, leading the way.

Nettes and his henchman rolled out of the sleeping quarters and began the tour.

"Okay, s-so you've seen the sleeping quarters?" Desmond asked.

"Yes... I have." Nettes answered sarcastically, shaking his hood.

"Now, if you'll come with me..." Desmond said, leading Nettes to the main room.

It was one, big open plan area of sorts. It did not look appealing whatsoever, but Nettes and his men made do.

"Incredible. The atmosphere is absolutely astounding." Nettes admired.

"Need I remind you... y-you chose the place, sir." Desmond reminded.

"I know. I did outstanding. You can practically smell the rust coming off the walls." Nettes quipped.

"Mhm... well, sir, in our apparent lack of funds following the purchase of the site, we do however still have dozens of henchmen at our disposal thanks to a new deal with our associate Devon." Desmond said.

As prompted, Devon came to join the two cars in conversation.

"Excellent to work together once again, Devon." Nettes said.

"The pleasure is mine, Helmut." Devon replied.

"Now, we should continue." Desmond said, leading the charge once more.

"Yes. Please, do go on." Nettes said.

"With dozens of henchmen now at our helm, we have the horsepower to run a true crime syndicate for your master plan, which brings me to the question..."  Desmond said.
