Meanwhile...

"I'm thankful they're giving me free travel, but this isn't what I had in mind." Jacobs thought.

There he was, sat in Syd's cargo bay en route to Tokyo. Little did he or anyone on board Syd have any idea of the events that had just occurred. Instead, he sat next to Damian, strapped to the floor so neither of them could go anywhere. Partly for their safety, and partly so they couldn't escape Finn and co.'s clutches. Syd's cabin could only fit six, so Damian and Jacobs got the short end of the preferential-treatment stick.

In an attempt to dampen the already-awkward situation, Jacobs felt the need to begin talking.

"So..." Jacobs began.

"You tryin' to make small talk already?" Damian asked.

"I said one word," Jacobs remarked.

"Well, maybe I ain't as dumb as you think I am." Damian perked up.

"Huh? I don't even know you," Jacobs remarked.

"And let's keep it that way." Damian scowled, leaning inward.

Damian then looked the other way grumpily, trying to shuffle away from Jacobs. Jacobs sat and watched the whole thing unfold.

"Wow. Jarred was right. You are very pathetic." Jacobs quipped in observation.

"I'm not pathetic!" Damian exclaimed angrily.

"Just so you two are aware, I can hear everything you're saying. You are inside of me after all." Syd interjected.

"That wasn't me. It was him!" Damian blamed.

"Just proving my point, Mr. Pathetic." Jacobs said, smiling sarcastically.

"Shut it, police car." Damian scowled.

"A prison guard really is the same as a police car. How observant of you." Jacobs quipped sarcastically. Even Syd couldn't help but to laugh as well.

"See? This guy gets it." Jacobs admired.

Damian couldn't even speak a word in retaliation due to his impending rage, which was all the more hilarious to Jacobs.

"I am so gonna enjoy this trip," Jacobs muttered to himself, smirking childishly.

"You know, I never liked you from the moment we met." Damian insulted.

"And I don't you, so your judgment is falling upon deaf ears." Jacobs replied.

Damian went to gesture a tire angrily but realized once again that he was restrained.

"Shhh-ut! You'll rue this day." Damian threatened.

"What are you gonna do? Bump into me? Complain to me to your Dad?" Jacobs retorted.

"Nettes is not my Dad!" Damian exclaimed.

Jacobs guffawed loudly, shaking his hood.

"I didn't even say his name," Jacobs noted.

"Grr- I would kill you if I could." Damian threatened.

"But you can't. Nor can I, so you're lucky." Jacobs said.

"Argh! You sound just like Jarred, and I hate that!" Damian exclaimed.

"Jarred? What does that traitorous fool have to do with this?" Jacobs perked up defensively.

"Wait. Traitorous?" Damian asked.

Jacobs' eyes shot wide open for a moment, quickly stopping himself before more unwanted truths came spluttering out of his mouth.
