A female grey furred direwolf ran through the forest away from a burning village, a red striped tiger chasing after her. The mother direwolf had something, or someone, important in her mouth. She had a tiny direwolf puppy in her hold, and the little one was scared and did not know what was happening. The tiger sprinted faster and rushed to the right side of the mother Direwolf, who was focusing on the path in front of her.
The black and red tiger then threw himself at her, making the mother direwolf throw the little puppy aside next to some ferns. The young one crawled under the ferns as her mother fought against the large feline, both not stopping at anything. Before anything else could happen, the mother's yelp of pain came, which the puppy flinched at.
With claws and paws covered in innocent blood, the tiger slowly walked to the fern where the puppy was hiding. He chuckled darkly as a wicked grin was visible on his muzzle, blood on his lips staining his dark fur. The terrified puppy stared at the tiger with tear filled eyes, which were filled with fear and pain.
All of a sudden, a plasma blast shot down, stopping the tiger from making further approach. Right between the two creatures landed a large male Night Fury, a glare visible on his face. The large male growled as the tiger roared at the strike class dragon, but immediately the big cat knew that he did not stand a chance against a dragon. Specially a Night Fury.
The tiger swiftly turned around and ran back to the burning village, leaving the Night Fury with the puppy. The large male turned to the little one, who flinched now that the large male had his attention to her. He slowly approached her, but the pup scooted back for she was still scared of the creatures larger than she was. The male sighed, inspecting her body to check for any cuts or bruises. He smiled as he saw no injuries on her tiny body, but he softly gasped and his eyes widened slightly as he saw something unique about this direwolf pup.
She had small wings coming out of her back, and her tail was slightly longer with tail fins. This told the dragon that this puppy was a Fury-hybrid, just like his pups. He looked back at the burning village, then at the small pup with kind eyes. "Don't worry, young one. I will not let that monster hurt you anymore. You're safe now..." he gently grabbed the pup and put her on his back, which she was scared at first. "Let's take you home"
He walked to the mother direwolf, sadness visible in his eyes. Sighing, the Night Fury nodded his head at her lifeless body. "I will not let your hard work on protecting your puppy go to waste" he then took off to the skies, flying out of the forest and to the direction of his home village.

The Night Fury has been flying through the air for about 45 minutes now, and the young pup had fallen asleep since he was flying so smoothly. The male then softly landed on the ground as to not wake up the young one, and he walked through the yard. "Hey there, commander- oh? Whatcha got there?" asked a purple and black Deathgripper, catching the commander Night Fury's attention. "Hey there, Korrah. I found this little one in a forest not too far from here, she was alone.."
The Deathgripper, Korrah, tilted his head. "Well, uh... couldn't ya find her, y'know, parents?" as he asked that, the Night Fury looked down. Korrah seemed to understand, for he apologized for asking. "It's fine, Koh.. I-I should go inside, Moonclaw and the pups must be wondering where I am" he walked to the house, hearing the young male Deathgripper say goodbye.
As the Night Fury walked inside, he made sure to quietly close the door behind him. He walked over to the couch, putting the young pup on a large pillow. He couldn't help but to feel bad for the young one. I mean, she saw her mother die in front of her.
He whined slightly, going to the kitchen to get the pup some food for when she woke up. As he did, a winged she-wolf came out of the shared bedroom, and then downstairs to greet her mate. "Hey there, Ecto." she greeted, which he did the same. "Hey, Moonie"
In the living room, the young pup was awoken by the sound of a door opening and closing. Opening her eyes, in front of her was a young black furred dragon pup, and behind her was a grey and white furred dragon pup. She became startled by their presence as she shrank back, ears pinning against her head.
The larger dragon pup tilted her head, and turned to her father who had walked in. "Dad? Who's this?" she asked, which the Night Fury, Ectoplasm, licked his daughter's head. "She's a scared young one. I found her alone in the woods" he said, leaving out the gruesome details. The older pup tilted his head in confusion, "Then we have to find her parents, dad!"
Ectoplasm became nervous, he did not want to tell his pups about the little one's parents' whereabouts. He turned to his she-wolf mate, Moonclaw, who gave him a confused look. He shook his head, and Moonclaw lowered her ears and her mouth parted into a small gasp. She turned to the two, "Little ones, how about you keep the little one company while I help your father with breakfast?" the two siblings nodded at her, being left with the youngest pup.
The black furred puppy stood up and looked up at the small puppy, "Hiya! I'm Raven, and this is my big brother Bonnie! What's your name?" the little pup gave no answer, for she was still scared of the 2 pups in front of her. Little Raven didn't mind though, for she leaned her head in to sniff her little face.
As soon as their noses touched, the smaller puppy yelped and she jumped off the couch and into a corner. She had her tush pressed against the walls and her small wings tucked close against her body, tail curled around herself. The older pup dilated his pupils rounder, seeing that the small direwolf puppy was also a Fury-hybrid. Before Raven could approach the scared puppy, he stopped her with a wing. "Let's not make her talk, sis. She has probably been through a lot of bad stuff, so she may not be ready to speak yet."
Raven nodded, giving the smaller pup a final smile before looking up at her mom. Moonclaw slowly approached the puppy who turned around and hid her face on the corner, making the she-wolf smile. She gently groomed the little one's back, slowly calming her down and easing her shaking.
Raven watched as her mom calmed the puppy down, as if to keep the method in mind.
