It's now been a few years, and at the moment Raven was 7 years old, Dark was 6, and Bonnie was 12. The older pup was preparing to leave for the flight academy where he would learn new flying techniques and learn about in-flight battle, in which he would be taught once he got older. Right now his fur was being groomed by his mom, causing him to pout. "Moooom, I'll be fine! My fur is good enough already!" he grumbled, but his wagging tail said otherwise. The wolf hummed, but still kept licking at the stray hairs on his head until they were now down. "I know, but you don't want your first day at the academy to be you having crazy fur, right?"

Dark tilted her head at those words, not really knowing what they meant. "Whats is academy?" she asked with her eyes on her brother and then to her mom. Bonnie turned to her, his fur done being licked at. "It's an academy where I will learn to fly better, and hopefully do some tricks while flying." Dark nodded in understanding, as a pup does. "Ohhh! But yous going to be back for supper rights?" the male pup shook his head. "Sorry, sis, but I have to be there every day for 4 years." "Oh..."

Raven nudged her gently, smiling at the smaller pup. "But he will be backs with us, right?" Bonnie nodded, then trotted to the door. Ectoplasm helped Moonclaw to stand, as she had quite the visible belly bump. "Ecto I can stand just fine, y'know." the Night Fury shook his head and still helped his mate to stand. "Nope, it's bad enough that you wanted to come with when you should be resting." "Ecto It's fine, and I do not want to miss our son's welcoming to the academy."

"Moooom! Daaaad! Can we go now please?" little Bonnie pouted, stomping his paws. Ectoplasm picked Dark up and put her on his back, then went to do the same with Raven. "I cans fly, dad! My wings are big and stwong now!" she exclaimed, proudly opening her wings. Her father chuckled, and licked her head. "Are you sure? It's quite the flight, you know." Raven nodded, bouncing off to the door. "Yessy! Yessy! I gots it!"

Moments later Raven was sitting on her dad's back, huffing and panting with her wings drooping down. Dark giggled at this, laughing about how their dad told her so. It sure was quite the flight, and Bonnie looked back at his sisters from Moonclaw's back. He didn't want to leave them at all out of fear that something might happen to them, but he had just been accepted into the academy. He turned back around, telling himself that he will be stronger by the time he finishes the academy.

They had now arrived to a huge building, which looked to be made of stone on the outside and was being held up by huge trees. Once inside the building, the pups looked around in awe. The marble walls were whitewashed and shiny which reflected the lights, and all around were many students, old and new. A large forest green gryphon walked up to the family, greeting them accordingly. "Welcome, Nightfangs! I assume today's the day Bonnie officially gets registered?" he asked and Ectoplasm nodded. "Of course! I brought my youngest daughters along if that's not a lot of trouble." "Oh it's no problem! They can wander around freely, just as long as they don't enter restricted areas." The Night Fury agreed, and Moonclaw went over to a little obstacle course to leave the two pups in.

She licked both her daughters' heads, earning little yips from them. "If you need anything we're right here, ok?" "Okis, momma!" both pups then waddled over to the supervisor, a sun colored lion. "Hi mister sir! We is here for the obostacles!" Raven spoke with a happy smile, and the lion nodded and gave them each a bracelet. "Just be careful, I hear only the bravest can do it." he chuckled at both pups' attempts to look brave as they went to get in line.

A while had passed, and the sisters' turn was approaching. Just as Dark was about to go in first she was shoved aside by Poisonfang and Venomtail, but she was thanks caught by Raven who growled at the two. "Hey! That's is mean!" the female twin scoffed, glancing back at the two. "I do not cares. I'm more important than you halfbreeds, my daddy says so." she stated, and Venomtail snorted with agreement. "Yeah! Stay away, halfbreeds!"

A piebald Deathgripper dragonet, around their age (maybe 3 years older), then approached the two, worriedly seeing if they were hurt. "Are you ok? Are those two bullying you?" he asked, and Poisonfang pressed her side against his, glaring at the two sisters. "Those two should not even be here, especially around purebreeds like us~" she was then pushed away, and growled at by the older dragonet. "Maybe you should not be here instead, as your behavior is not tolerated. Unlike you, I care about others equally, purebreed or not." he then used his wing to push the golden siblings out of the way and to allow the sisters to pass. "If you want me to like you, then you have to respect others equally. If not, you can forget about it, you pile of cheap gold."

Dark then approached the starting point, and then a tigress stood besidd her. "Alright little one. Those jumps are quite big, so if you need to take your time it's alright." she spoke sweetly, but the Dire-fury froze on the spot as she looked up at the feline. In her eyes all she saw was a pitch black tiger with stripes as red as red as blood, claws stained in the red liquid, and eyes as red as the fire that raged behind them. Poor little Dark whimpered, backing away with her ears pinned against her head.

Ectoplasm then approached the dragonets, seeing his youngest daughter in distress. With a sigh he picked her up and placed her on his back, turning to the apologizing tigress. He shook his head, stopping her from apologizing. "Don't. It's ok. It's not you that she's scared of." he stated, looking down at a worried Raven. Ectoplasm then gently nudged her, telling her to try out the obstacle course which she did.

Once she went off, the dragon turned to the feline. "Don't feel bad, miss. You're not the one who killed her mother in front of her."
