Ectoplasm had returned with Raven and Dark, who were sleeping and curled up against eachother. He went up to their room and gently put both sisters on their bed, covering them with a blanket. He was quiet when leaving the room and closing the door, walking down the hall and past a few doors.

He stopped next to a blue and purple gradient door, turning his head to look at it with a sad expression. Ectoplasm whimpered slightly as he put a paw on one of the boards that was used to barricade it, signaling that whoever the previous owner of the room was is no longer living in the house.

He then turned his head to look at Raven, Bonnie, and Dark's shared bedroom where the 2 female pups were sleeping. Ectoplasm shook his head as tears fell down his face, a tragic event playing in his mind. He gritted his teeth and clenched his paws, not wanting whatever event happened to happen to his pups or mate. Taking a deep breath to calm himself, Ectoplasm made his way downstairs and to the kitchen to make some food for Raven and Dark.

Although he could not stop thinking of the bad memory, he focused on the good memories and the present.

The smell of food woke the two fury sisters up, and they both began sniffing the air. "Whas the smell?" Dark asked, her mouth watering at the delicious smell coming from the kitchen. She knew what the smell was, but she liked to question her big sister. Raven wagged her tail as she jumped off the bed and helped Dark down, "Is daddy cooking! Follow, sister!" Raven yipped, trotting out of the room with Dark following close by.

The two pups then reached the kitchen, seeing their dad cooking with a small smile on his face. Once he turned to look at them his smile grew bigger, seeing his daughters standing with him. "Well hello to you two princesses! I'm cooking bacon and sausages for you two, but while that's being made would you two like soooomee...?" he started his question, chuckling as both pups answered at the same time.

"Chocky milky!!"

He smiled as he got 2 little cartons of wolf-friendly chocolate milk for them, making sure he did grab the correct cartons, since he accidentally grabbed the wrong cartons last time

As the 2 female pups sat on the couch with their milk, Ectoplasm went back to making them food. He saw them both, who have eventually started laughing with eachother and getting milk on the fur under their noses. As he saw them, Ectoplasm saw Bonnie and Raven in the place of Dark and Raven, but the more he looked at them, the more he saw something familiar.

Or rather someone, for in the place of Dark and Raven he also saw something else. While he did see a much younger version of Bonnie in Dark's place, he also saw... another young dragon pup in Raven's place.

Before he could get any more time to try and identify the memory of the second pup, he heard a pop that came from the bacon. That startled him, and he carefully served the meats in 2 plates in equal portions. Once that was done, he called the two young pups to the table to eat. The two ran over towards the table, jumped on the chairs, and began to eat, wagging their little tails and making "nom nom" noises.

Sighing, the adult dragon did his best to calm himself. He knew that he and his mate would not let anything or anyone hurt their pups, no matter what. Curling his tail slightly towards himself, Ectoplasm looked up at the window closest to the door. He wouldn't make the same mistake of letting his guard down.

Not again.
