Five days later, now a Friday, Dark laid in a loaf position next to a tree, waiting for her friends and siblings. She didn't want to be out in the sun for too long, in which her older brother and sister understood and went to take care of the market stuff. The sun had become brighter and hotter recently, but that was normal as it was now summer.

The hybrid waited for around half an hour, and then got up to stretch. Dark was about to head off to meet with her friends, until she was approached by a trio of Sun Direwolves. They blocked her way intentionally, and she didn't know what they wanted so she just kept calm to find out what it was. "Uhm... can I help you?" she asked, then the one she assumed was the leader took a step towards her. "Why yes. I would like to suggest joining my pack with fellow Direwolves, instead of hanging out with those halfbreeds you so much like to be with."

Dark didn't like her tone of voice, especially when the direwolf had insulted her friends. She looked back to where they were, and smiled at the scene. Argon had Bonnie trapped with one paw and was giving him a noogie with the other, all while Raven Night and Tarjo were either trying to not laugh or full on wheezing. Dark then took a step to them without looking back. "Sorry, but no. I'm more than happy with my current pack and nothing can change that."

The Dire-fury then went on to her friends, but the sun Direwolf didn't seem to give up. "C'mon, grey fur! It won't hurt to be with fellow Direwolves like us! Come on!" Dark glanced back at the leader, then to her friends. "Sorry, but my answer is no. Now quit insisting and let me return to them." she stated, now walking away. She then heard faint sounds of bones snapping into different places and skin moving and shifting, which creeped Dark out. "Wrong.... anssssswer....." now Dark whipped around and her fur stood on end. Instead of the sun Direwolves there was a trio of undead dragons, all of which were glaring at her with dead green eyes. The leader hissed, taking a step towards Dark. "Noww..... I take..... your ssssssoul..." it spoke, and kept walking towards her.

The dragons were then shoved aside by Raven, who then turned and gave Argon and Tarjo an order. They took out incoming undead dragons left and right, which prompted Raven to let out a huge roar, signalling an attack. Immediately the townsfolk began to evacuate the area and guards poured in to fight the undead off. Raven hissed as she batted at one's head, keeping the beasts away from her sister. "There's so many!!" she hissed then turned to Dark, grabbing her carefully and quickly placing her on Argon's back. "We have to go!! There are too many of those beasts and with many more to come!!" she exclaimed, now taking to the air.

Bonnie and Night also took off with, and eventually Argon began to fly. Tarjo told them to go and that he would protect the townsfolk, running off to fight more of those beasts and protect the innocents. The group then flew off, but a larger undead dragon flew in their way. It was about to strike, but Ectoplasm knocked it out of the air and quickly turned to them. "Get moving!! Don't be sitting ducks!! FLY!!" he ordered, continuing to attack the undead. The group flew up higher and farther away from the market, to get away from the undead beasts.

Dark looked back, still shaken and confused. "Uhm... w-where are we gonna go?" she asked shakily, turning back around to face the front. "Hervabe Heights. We'll be safe there." Argon stated, still flying and looking to the front. Raven snorted, flying to the large hybrid's right and turning to the other two males. "Night, fly below Argon. Anything could attack from underneath." as she said that, the Night Fury flew below his friend, scanning the ground with sharp eyes. "Bonnie, to the left. I'll take the right." "Got it." the Lunight Fury flew to the left side, keeping an eye out for anything.

As they flew, and it was turning to night time, Dark got to thinking as she laid her head on her paws. Why had those dragons come after her? What did they even want with her? It was all weird to Dark, not really seeing herself as anything special enough for some undead dragons to want to take her. Her questions would remain unanswered for the moment, though, as the main priority was getting to safety.

Once the last of the sun faded into the horizon, Argon began to descend to the ground. He landed first, then the other three after. They scanned the area thoroughly, checking for any unwanted guests. Once it was deemed safe, Argon let Dark off. Raven snorted, trotting over to a more closed in part of the forest with the group. She sniffed and searched, then gave the heads up for temporary camping there. It was a large enough space for Argon to fit in, so that was a plus.

Dark then felt and heard her stomach grumbling, which signalled that she was hungry. Raven noticed and went off to forage for food, in which Night offered to come along. "Alright, you goof. Just stay close to me, k?" as he nodded, Raven turned to Argon for a second before heading off. Bonnie was confused, thinking it must be a guard thing. He stayed watchful with Argon, deciding to not light a fire for warmth as it could attract unwanted attention.

Later Raven and Night returned, both carrying many branches with berries on them. They placed them down in front of the group, in which Dark and Bonnie seemed suspicious. "Berries? Are you certain these are safe to eat?" Bonnie asked, nudging the branches slightly. Raven nodded, picking the berries off of the branches. "Of course they're safe. These are Direberries, and they're the safest kind to eat. They have this chemical that can kill only those of evil nature." with that she popped a berry into her mouth, causing her brother to panic. The female then smirked as she licked her lips, smiling contentedly. "Mmm, grape cider!"

After that, Bonnie tried one just to be sure, and then the rest of them ate until they were satisfied. Argon had continued to explain the ways that Direberries work, which helped to ease the group's nerves a bit. The forest then grew darker, and the stars above told the group it was night time. Dark hesitantly slept, only doing so by being reassured of her safety. Bonnie and Night were the ones to sleep, all while Raven and Argon took turns keeping guard.

The night was lengthy, but regardless it was all they needed for the next events to unfold.
